Remarks

I chooses IIT Kanpur for its name and its almuni base.It has a great campus life. Teachers are wonderful and studies are all about the practical aspects of the subject. I gave CAT and scored 93.90% and applied for the college and got selected. There was no interview as these were during the Covid times.

Course Curriculum Overview

The Course are mostly on the pratical basis and faculties are excellent. All the teacher are previos students of any IIM and they have done their PHD from one of the reputed college of the country. Their teaching method are all on the leaned towards learning. We have 2 sem and their is a mid sem in each.

Class Size: 53Course Fees: INR 600000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I have opted for internship in Outlook Publishing Group. I am a intern in their operation department.

Placement Experience

From 3rd semester , Students are eligible to seat for the company and is generally start from August and is completed before February. There are around 50-60 companies coming for the placement. There is 100% placement. I will be joining a multinational companies with a package of 50 Lakh fer Annum.

Campus Life

I have not gone to campus no experience of Campus Life, yet. Just heard campus to be very great. We had our online fest Prabandhan 2020 and Peagus followed. We have almost 10K Participants in Prabandhan 2020.

I have given CAT for the entrance exam and scored 93.90 percentile in the exam. Then,I filled the form and applied for the college and but due to COVID there was no interview and I got selected based on my profile.

Worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements of our college is good. Most of our seniors got placed in good organizations. Companies lying under fortune 500 also comes in our college for placement. And before internship each student have to go through a live project provided by the college which will help in deciding the specialization.

I Business Institute overview from the point of view of the student.

Placement Experience:

Students when they comes back from their summer internships, starts appearing for the internship interviews. The final interviews takes place months before the completion of the course. Companies like amul, delloit, amazon, meesho, flipkart comes in the campus for hiring. Many students get the PPO from their intership companies and they dont have to sit fot the final placements. the highest package offerd is 28LPA and the lowest rangese between 6 to 8 LPA. Almost 90 percent students get placed and rest opts for starting their own startups. After completing the cousre i want to place myself in a reputed company in a reputed designation, however through our curriculum i am also looking to start my own startup and work upon it simultaneously my job.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in the college as there is a new placement team hired. which is bringing the result. For my senior batch, companies like Amazon and Toyota came for hiring, and also companies from every domain are coming. The average package was around 9 LPA.

In marketing field it's very common which influence me to chhode this and I have taken finanace as 2nd specialization because I am from accounts background. A good college for PGDM

Placement Experience:

Comapny will visit in campus after September. And here alomst 80 to 85 company visit in this college. Likes hdfc, Dabur, icici, mother dairy, wipro, Infosys and many startup companies. And almost all student got job in campus. Last year highest package is 8.5 lacs and average package is 3.5 to 4 lacs. Here almost 90-95% student placed. In starting 5-8 years I make me financially strong and learn about market and condition. After I looking for a startup.

I choose this college becouse of its flexible acdemic structure and its great Alum connections. Also this is the best college i am getting according to my rank and my interest in mathematics. I have Applied for IIT delhi in electronics. IIT Delhi is also a great college but when it comes to academic focus IIT delhi lacks there. Also there faculty administratation is so strict. if a student wants to start something or he/she has a new iniative for the college , he/she will face hard time. So I couldn't make it to IIT Roper CSE branch because my jee adance rank is not that great for the Roper' Computer science. So the Admission process here at IITK is not difficult. You just the originaly document which you have submitted in your josa counselling portal and you need to verify it once here usually a couple opf hours work. Life @ IITK

I chose IIT Kanpur over othe rcooleges because of its academic reputation, research opportunities and strong alumini network. I was also able to get seats in other IITs but I preferred IIT Kanpur due to its legacy . I didn't face rejections, but did not opt for some colleges even after qualifying due to lower research output, weaker placement stats.
