I cracked Wbjee 2016 with All India Rank(AIR) 6761. This college ranks 3rd among all the private colleges of kolkata. I was getting top 2 colleges but the stream i wanted was CSE or IT which i got in this college only apart from those two.

My course is IT and the course structure for 1st semester is much friendly, not too tough and many other activities on different topics also takes place as a part of co- curriculum activities. Many of the topics are the basic portions from what we have studied in 11th and 12th, so the course is quite good.

Yes, as asked from the seniors the college do provides internships at various companies but as a fresher we are yet very far away from those things.

As a private college its placement is awesome. The companies visit here are more than sufficient. The average package is 4.5 lpa. This year highest package went as high as 16 lpa by Microsoft, then 14 lpa by Accenture, also to few students 10-12 lpa, then at 9 lpa, 13 students were placed at Microsoft, Deloitte and few startup companies offered 6-7 lpa packages and then comes the major recruiter TCS, which offered an avg of 3.6 lpa package to hundreds of students.

Here comes that word for which techno india, salt lake campus is known for that is fest, and they are. Freshers- a general cultural fest hold for the 1st year freshers, Eclectica- again a general cultural fest, Edge- east India's best technical fest, Anakhronos- the name itself heats up the surrounding, the biggest 2 days cultural fest of kolkata honoured by celebrities.

The fee structure is very feasible as compared to other private colleges. The total fee for 4 years is just ₹398750 as of now. First sem fee is 77850, 2nd sem is 61500 and from 3rd to 8th sem it varies from 41000 to 44500 only. It is feasible for middle class family.

Loan facilities are available as college itself has punjab national bank in its campus. And scholarships are provided to minority and TFW criteria students.

Not too hectic, in each semesters 2 internal test take place and at that end a semester exams and labs practicals take place and mid of these sufficient gaps are given in between in which students can easily prepare for those exams. And yup the semesters sessions can be said as a chilling out sessions.

As a fresher i find the faculty members are good some teachers are best and few are average. Complete doubt clears are done by the faculty members and they are also friendly with the students. Sufficient notes are provided by the teachers which are necessary.
