Remarks
This college have one of the oldest civil engineering branch in India after IIT Roorkee. Its lab is almost have all type of equipments and machines. The place is nice and campus is situated in the mid of city. The view of Ganges of Ganga beside the college make it marvellous. The college is well known for its distinguished alumni and have high reputation among the state.
Course Curriculum Overview
Civil Engineering in NIT Patna will always brings the enthusiasm in mind. Having a sense of royalty for this branch makes you feel more special. The labs are well equipped and the classrooms are highly maintained with modern facilities and Air conditioned too. The professors of civil engineering department are very helpful and generous. They can always encourage and provide the opportunities to the students so that they can learn and grow more. Apart from this The Civil Engineering Student Club makes this department well organized whose motto is to bridge the gap between the institutional academics and Industrial working experience.
Internships Opportunities
Due to covid restrictions I have done my internship under a professor of civil engineering department. It was a great learning under his guidance.
Placement Experience
Placement at NIT Patna is quite good. But it varies with different branches. For Computer Software Engineering it is almost 100%placement having a max of 40 lpa . For Electronics branchs it's quite comparable to CSE. For core branches like civil, mechanical and electrical the placement is satisfactory but not very good.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Per Semester fees is around 65000. Mess & Hostel Charges are 27000 per semester. Various fee relaxation have also been provided according to the annual income of the students family.Likewise for SC/ST students no tution fees are charged. For students having less than 1 lakh income per year will also be given 100% relaxation in tution fees. For students having 1 lpa to 6lpa annual income have to pay 50% of the tuition fees.
Campus Life
Csmpus life is amazing here. Here at NITP various clubs are there who always organises various events and workshops which makes you busy and learning and developing the skills. Apart from this various cultural fest and events also beem organized at some interval during which colleges are closed. These are tge times which students miss and wait for all the year.

Admission
No it's directly admitted through the JEE Mains All India Rank. We have to register for JOSSA counselling after getting a decent rank in JEE Mains. And there we will be provided a seat in various colleges according to the All India Rank of the student
