Remarks
Beautiful campus covered by mountain, highly educated and enthusiastic faculty, course curriculum, besides the tag of IIT. The department was well equipped with all the necessary instruments required for the research, being a new campus all the instruments were new and in good working conditions. The place is indeed heaven on earth. The winds at night, the mountains, a drizzly rain sometimes and the river sound makes you forget all the hardships of the day and gives you strength to work harder with more passion the next day.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our Course curriculum was designed in a very innovative and subtle way. It includes all the aspects a masters student has to know. The teaching mostly emphasize on thinking rather than just mugging up things. You always have a take away message and orientation towards research after each day. The faculty over here is well qualified, with majority of them having their higher studies from well renowned universities from the world like Harvard, Oxford, Stanford, Rice University to name a few. Faculty student ratio is also good. Each faculty had almost 2-3 students to supervise and around 5 PhD candidates.
Placement Experience
I didn't opt for placements, as I was more into academics after this. Overall placements are okayish, as I don't have much idea. But yeah they do help a lot if u wish to pursue higher studies. Faculty are really cooperative.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The course as per isn't expensive it's affordable. In the range of 30-40,000 INR per semester. Besides, we get MHRD scholarship of 12400 INR per month which covers almost all the expenses and the fees.
Campus Life
RANNETI and Exodia are the main fests of the campus. Besides many events do take place most of the times. There was a grand event for Fredhers where we are told about the college, all the clubs were introduced and many cultural programs took place. Inter college Sports fest, nukad natak, etc. There is cultural club, for dance its UDC, fine arts and photography club, literary society and many more. Campus is indeed so heavenly.

There was an interview in previous batches than ours, we didn't have any interview. As per them it was good and questions were asked from the very basics, where you need to know.the logic of doing things.
