Remarks

due to good location and coding culture of the college as well as mentorship of an old nit were the priime reasons for choosing iiit surat , also the fee was lowest as compared to other iiits across india

Curriculum is good , many irreleavant subjects like engineering drawing and chemistry are not taught but syllabus of cse is a mix of cse and ece , many of ece subjects are taught to cse and few cse subjects are taught to ece

college has jsut begun 4 years back so only 1 batch has passed , placement % was 68% and median salary offered was 8lpa , which is expected for a 4 year old institute. Oncampus opportunities are currently low because tnp cell is still under development, so few of them try off campus. stats are expected to improve once tnp cell flourishes in coming years

Fee Structure And Facilities

fee structure is lowest as compared to other iiits but there is no scholarship from institute , you have to depend on your state govt scholarships only , college wont provide tou any scholarships on basis of obc ,sc st categories.college is enlisted in sbi for lower interest rates on loan and tnp cell is developing

campus life id a total blast , will be your most fun time in life , , all student clubs are there in the college be it technical , cultural or literary clubs , big cultural and technical fests are conducted annually. infrastructure is in construction for permanent campus , currently wee are reciding in scnit campus , our own campus will be constructed til 2024 minimum

Review of iiit surat

I want to study in western part of india i.e. gujarat or maharashtra. So I've encountered all best colleges in these two states, offcourse iitb will be number 1 but i have just cleared advanced and not even scored good marks in it and in mains i got 40k rank so i couldn't get into circuital branch in nit nagpur and nit surat, so i have decided iiit nagpur , iiit surat and iiit pune. Unfortunately i couldn't get into iiit pune due to high cutoff and got seat in iiit surat in csab 2024. These college only accept jee mains score and no exams will be accepted for b.tech admissions, General cutoff of my college for cse is 35k and for ece is 47k in jee mains....Read More

IIIT SURAT IS IN BUILDING PHASE
