Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course since I was very passionate about machines and wanted to know how automobile actually works. We have distinct group of faculty in our college. Student ratio is 60 students per course and max of 120 students for civil and mech. Our exams were once in every six months and it wasn't hard I would say. Getting good notes and finishing work on time is well enough and no hard work is needed
Internships Opportunities
No not yet but I will be doing my internships in my third years. There are lot more mechanical companies in Coimbatore
Placement Experience
Students should have around 90% to 70% of marks to join this college. They need to apply to this college through TNEA counselling. The highest salary package offered here is 60 lpa , and the lowest salary package offered is 15 lpa . Overall, it is a college for academically good students and students who are highly passionate about engineering and learning.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees structure is pretty good. I paid tuition fees of 9000 ,hostel fees of 11000 total of 21000 per year and mess fees would be 20 per meal. It would cost around 1800- 2400 per month. There are more scholarship in there. Government scholarship is most common for people whose financial income is not greater than 60000.
Campus Life
College atmosphere Is really good. Here at Gct, more than good staffs and environment, the alumni association is doing the best that I have ever seen. There are more books related to every aspect , ebooks, and computers to listen to course in our library and you can take photocopy of books if needed. There more 8 clubs in here and rotartact, sae and nss are some well known clubs that attracts more students.
