SRCC- Best Commerce College

SRCC is one of the top colleges for commerce with high placement records, many socities and one of the best fest(crossroads) with a lot of exposureA small drawback is that the fees is a bit high as compared to other colleges in Delhi University.

I have interest in accounting and finance and hence Bcom hons was the best suited course for me. All the profossers are highly educated with degrees in MCom, MA(Economics), MPhil,etc. Teaching method is amazing as the teachers try to cover every topic in depth and remedial classes are also provided for complete revision.Semester exams happen every 6 months but for the batch of 2020 it happened after 4 months as the session got delayed due to covid.

Campus Placements are for 3rd year students. Top recruiters of SRCC include BCG, Deloitte, McKinsey &Company, EY, google, JP Morgan , KPMG, pwc, etc. Highest package offered-31 lpa Average Package- 8.4 lpa . 270+ students got placement offers.

Fees is Rs. 15000/semester. So total 6 semesters cost Rs. 90000. Many scholarships are available for people coming from low income groups. Also fee structure for reservation category is different. Campus placement records are very high and Return on investment is total worth it.

I didn't enjoy the campus life due to COVID.But I am a little bit aware of the campus life. Annual fest of SRCC is Crossroads (one of the best in DU). There are over eighty journals of national and international repute in the library. Well-stocked and presently having a collection of over eighty thousand volumes on different subjects and latest publications in the fields of business, economics, humanities and social sciences.There are twenty six class-rooms in the Main Building of College which are centrally air-conditioned with three panel Green Boards with large central panel and two small side panels.Overhead Wi-Fi enabled LCD projectors with Roll-down screens.College has a state-of-art international standard multipurpose indoor sports stadium. The courts laid with wooden planks are used for Badminton, Basket Ball, Volley Ball, Judo, Wrestling, etc. Besides this, a separate room for chess and table tennis is also provided in the stadium. The College also has a hockey cum football field.The College has been excelling in sports for over two decades. Every year the College holds Sports Carnival, Inter-class matches and Sports Day. Coaching facilities are also provided by the collegeSRCC is the one of the few colleges in the University of Delhi to have a swimming pool facility. The swimming pool opens during the summer season. The swimming pool is properly maintained and coaching facilities are provided to newcomers.SRCC has 40+ student run societies like Marketing society, Enactus, NSS, Economics society, Commerce society,etc. with each society having its own website.

Criteria is Merit Based. Whatever marks are scored in best 4 subjects in 12th board exams are taken into consideration and a cut off is released. In these marks English marks are mandatory to be included.

I didn't face any GD/Interview/ written tesr for the admission. The admission process was completely merit based.I did a lot of hardwork in my entire 12th standard to score good marks in board exams to secure admission in SRCC.
