Remarks

Good brand name, placements and vast opportunity for all over development during the course. Even though the fee is little bit on the higher side but the environment they provide is worth the fees. There are N numbers of society and clubs which help a person to develop and interact with the outer world people instead of campus life.

Curriculum is good but faculties need to improve there teaching pattern. Academics course are well and good as per the engineering stream but they should involve real application area subjects such as HIL, ADAS etc

Yes I have opted for internship. I got shortlisted for internship at prestigious company likes Tata motors Limited. So I completely my internship there and even got the pre placement offer from there.

Placement Experience

Yes campus placement is offered in thapar university. Top 100 fortunate company visit the university and picks students as per there requirements. Even the highest package offers is around 35lakhs and average is around 6.6lakhs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yes, there is a fee hike policy in thapar Institute of engineering and technology. Every year the free is incremented by 10%. For example I joined with the fees of 1.70lakhs but at the end of 4year my fees was 2.10 lakhs.

Campus Life

Life at the campus is every enjoyable. There are lots of social and extracurricular society funded by college. Which provided excellent exposure. Amenities like library, various courts for tennis, basketball, volleyball etc. Which help in all over development during the course of the engineering.

MY HONEST REVIEW ABOUT MY COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students become eligible for the placements and they should not have any backolgs or reappers in the exam and they should have morethan then 5 cgpa . as i am from the 2nd yeari donot know more aboutm the placement offered made but the average packagr is 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annual and around 70 to 80 percent of students are get selected in placement . and planns after getting the degree is to do higher studies in aerospace designing in the aircrafts.

To give it clear picture i ll rate the curriculum based on the standard followed by tier-1 institutes like iits overall the relavamce is high but requires a lot of self drive 1. relivance and comprehensive the curriculum is designed around first principles instead of teaching how to use specific software this dept make it os comprehensive 2. exam frequency and difficulty the exam system is marthon not a sprint you are constantly being tested

Why I chose LPU ?

Placement Experience:

Here, the placement drive starts at the beginning of the 5th semester and goes till the end of the 8th semester. Here, all MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, and many other companies come to our campus for hiring. In the very last year 2 students got selected with a prestigeous 2.5cr & 1 cr packages.

Good College, Placement and Great Infrastructure and Facilities

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum should be rated on how useful and complete it is. A good one covers all important topics like Software , Networking , Automata , SQLetc. it is mix theory and practical work . For CSE studendent there are coding laguage like C++ in 3rd sem and DSA in 4th semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty of Delhi University was fabulous well educated professors were there and in chandigarh University too the faculty is quite good and helping in nature. Faculty is always ready to help students at both universities. They teaching style is fabulous at both places. There were only semester exams in Delhi University and some internal tests and practical file marks were there butin chandigarh University we have exams every month this must be changed

Honest is the best Policy

I was getting addmission in some other private colleges but this was near to me and had a great rew.. Its infra and hostels are really worth it. i applied for lnmiit college jaipur . there i was expecting computer branch but did got electronics branch so i didnt went there.here in thapar it was based on jee mains percentile for addmission. computer branches were available till 89 percentile for punjab students and till 94 percentile for outside punjab students. so i had percentile of 95 so i easily got computer branch over here....Read More
