The Delhi Campus of NIT Group

A lot of institution tell themselves as the best but without any doubt, NITs/IITs are the backbone of technical education in India and that's the reason I also decided to do BTech from an similar college. NIT , Delhi is an institute approved by both UGC and AICTE. It was 35th for BTech in 2020 rankings of the IndiaToday group. For admissions in the institute candidates must apply through the centralised counselling of JOSAA agency.

I had a sort of interest in this field which became the reason to choose Electrical & Communication Engineering for my BTech. The course is just like any other Btech as it is having semester-wise structure of 4 years with the main objectives of the course being development and growth in the respective field. I was very happy to be around faculty having their education from the top institutions across the Globe and the best thing was that the college helped all students with a lot of opportunities for their personality and social development.

I didn't wanna give a 6-7 week period to a temporary sort of work so I preferred to not participate in the round. Rather than doing so, I worked on 2-3 different skills and tried to grow myself in those fields.

Whenever we talk about any programme or institute the placement records are certainly one major part of it and NIT Delhi has a good name in this thing. The 2020 batch of our college got some extraordinary packages and due to such offers the average package Stood at INR 10.5 lpa . The CSE department was the most famous one during the round while the top visiting firms were Amazon, Bajaj, Samsung, HCL, Microsoft, Tata group and Capgemini.

I paid around INR 3.21 Lacs throughout my BTech programme at NIT Delhi and I was very happy to pay it because I was able to get better education from ordinary institutes and the fee structure was decent. The scholarship cell of our college managed all things regarding fee grants/scholarships etc and the SC/ST students were given concessions in the programme fee.

NIT Delhi is always counted among the best places from NIT group as far as campus life is concerned. The college had annual sports fest, technical activities, academic conferences and Drama/Dance competitions also. Having passion for photography I was a member of the Photographers Club in NIT Delhi. Except it, cultural cell, sport committee and most importantly the students council were the major names managing all different sort of things in the campus

As NIT Delhi offer's UG as well as PG courses spreaded across management and technical so the accommodation services have to be large and that's why residence facilities for 300 students is available at NIT Delhi. The rooms are allocated with attached bathrooms and the mess used to offer food even better than that of my house which really deserves appreciation. The annual fee for the accommodation was INR 35,000 which I think was pretty reasonable.

For anyone wishing to pursue BTech from NIT Delhi or any other NIT also it is mandatory to have a valid score in JEE Main exam as it is the resulting factor during the seat allocation of JOSAA. With the entrance score the seat availability in that particular course/college along with the reservation/quota benefits also play an important part in admissions here.
