I chose IIT BHU because it has a very big alumni network. As it is an old university it has a strong alumni network. The civil engineering in IIT BHU is a good one moreover Kashi is a best place to live and chill out when you're stressed and disturbed.The placement is very good in comparison to many colleges and even IITs. The coding culture is really good.It has good labs. For admission into IIT student have to appear for JEE ADVANCED and josaa counseling.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose civil engineering because I always wanted to be a civil engineer. The civil engineering in IIT BHU is a good one.student ratio is 1:4.The faculties have in depth knowledge of the subject and an experience of more than 20- 30 years.They are ready to help you at any hour you need. You can learn a lot from them. Basically there are mid terms and end term exams which obviously are not easy to pass if you don't study hard.

Placement Experience
Placements are really good. As it is an old University it has large alumni network. The placement in non-core field is more significant.TPC (the training and placement cell) mail you about different interships in your mail. And linkedin is another option. For on campus interships you have to sit for interviews. According to placement cell report maximum stipend is 200000 per month and minimum is 20000 per month. Students became eligible for on campus internship from 2nd semester. And for placement student are eligible from starting of 4th year. The top four branches are almost placed on the same day. All the big comapnies visit here for placements
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure depends on the annual family income. For income greater than 5 lakh fee is 106315For income between 1 lakh and 5 lakh fee is 33000.For income less than 1 lakh fee is 1350.There are some Scholarship facilities from central gov. IIT BHU has NSC (NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP PORTAL) which helps students get deserving scholarship for which you have to apply in your first year. Some other Scholarships are available from the College side. A lot of other scholarship are available for financially weak students and academically brilliant students. You can apply for the scholarship when informed about that. Also girls students get additional scholarship. Students can apply for Educational loans easily as different banks will make a temporary tender in front of your hostel during admission time.
Campus Life
Technex is one of the renowned technical festival held in month of aprail. Almost all types of technical events conducted. Kashiyatra is the cultural fest of our IIT held in January. One everyone loves the most. Spardha annual fest of IIT BHU is the biggest sports event in india held in October- November. There is almost every book required for students in library moreover there is an e library sectionn which is fully air conditioned. There is student parliament which is link between student and college authority. Many events occur in the college for maintaining the decorum as well as the interests among students like:- FMC weekend, Lit Club events and many quiz events occur that arose interest among the college students.

Admission
Firstly you have to appear for JEE MAIN. after clearing that you have to appear for JEE ADVANCED. after clearing both these exams students have to appear in 7 round JOSAA counseling. There is no interview for admission. You have to appear in person at nearest IIT for JOSAA COUNSELING and verification of documents. For preparation of both these exams I did coaching in ALLEN KOTA.
