Remarks
The college is at the center of the city which is a major plus point, Our College motto is " Learning is a Celebration " which exactly describes about the college in a simple sentence. 1. It has a very good green environment. 2. The staffs are very supportive and encourage us to participate in extracurricular activities.3. The food in canteen is average. 4. In our first year we had induction programs which was really fun and we got to know about many Clubs and other activities such as research programs that's goin on in the College.5. The seniors are very friendly and supportive. The toilets are not WC which some students feel uncomfortable to use (including me).
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose Computer Science and Engineering, We lack a little bit in hands on session but apart from that we have very good teaching staffs and they're very helpful and supportive during the projects. We have Lecture Capturing System which is very helpful in case we skipped a class and also to recheck difficulty topics. The placement ratio is quiet good in Computer Science department. The staffs provide with necessary notes so it's not quiet difficult to pass.
Placement Experience
According to passed out students the job opportunities are quiet good out of 60 students in a class at-most 56 are placed. There are many good companies coming to the campus for placement starting from TCS CISCO COGNIZANT ETC.
Campus Life
The campus Life is over all awesome. If you have many friends you'll really enjoy your college life at SONA. We have Club Activities and department symposium during Even semester there are many Clubs starting from Science club to Tamil club and also we have a 2 day Cultural Event KRIVAS and also there is separate Club for music SONARIA during even semester we also have Sonata dance events conducted in our auditorium.

No GD or interview questions. Since i was an NRI there was an separate Admission cell for Foreign Students which is quiet Good the faculties in Foreign department makes the admission process quiet simple. Also We have separate NRI club to celebrate our own festivities.
