Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

As I have done my Diploma in Industrial Electronics Engineering, I could not apply for any other branch except Electronics Group. The male students to female students ratio was around 60-40. It depends on a branch to branch forex in mechanical engineering course this ratio is 90-10 and the ratio is highest in computer and IT engineering courses. We have the same department for electrical and electronics courses. There were lecturers on a temporary and permanent basis. We were taught by both of them. Each Temporary Staff was at least postgraduate. Permanent Staff was selected through examination. Most of the permanent staff was PhD. We used to have two unit tests in 4 months. We had two semesters each year. Passing exams was not that tough If you are regularly attending classes and having conceptual clarity of the syllabus and topics. But if you need to improve the marks you have to work hard.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

There was an open window for an internship in start-up Peak Point Techno Solutions, Wardha. Interns were responsible for building Technologies related to electronics. They were also responsible for helping the PPTS team in conducting various workshops related to Robotics etc.

Placement Experience

3

It has a very active placement cell that works round the year to provide internship and employment opportunities to its students. We have training and placement facilities from different institutions such as Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, Atol Syntel, etc

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, There are scholarships given to all categories other than general category students. You have to take a copy of the scholarship form provided by samaj Kalyan vibhag. Fill up the form and submit it to the clerical section in your college.

Campus Life

4

Campus life is extremely good and with a lot of new experiences. Living away from home, meeting new people, new friends. Managing your own time for studies and extracurricular activities will bring a lot of challenges and you slowly start learning to manage the workload. Each year we have a college gathering program. Each department conducts a program one or the other day related to the workshop, or any Jayanti, or any cultural program or any competition. You can avail yourself of any number of books from the library section. We also had sports events such as cricket and other games competitions each year.
