Remarks
The admission process was very easy, I had a chance of getting admission in other colleges for EXTC courses like Xaviers Mahim, NMIMS, but after looking at the overall record and considering the fee structure, I decided to take admission in Vidyalankar. You need to give MHT CET (for Maharashtra students) and JEE for others.
Course Curriculum Overview
The entire curriculum is managed by the Mumbai University. Vidyalankar is famous for EXTC and is accredited A+ by NAAC. The faculty is too good, especially for FE students. They are helpful and also take many doubt-solving sessions before the exam. Almost every professor has completed his/her Masters or are pursuing PHD.
Internships Opportunities
Alumni of VIT do provide internships to the students. In-house internships are provided by the department itself, where you get to work on IOT projects under mentors. Also faculty guides you to do internships and your efforts are acknowledged.
Placement Experience
Vidyalankar does provide campus placements. Many reputed companies like Jio, Reliance, Tata hire students from our colleges. Highest package till date was around 37 LPA. Almost every student who apply for the campus interviews get a job, so thepercentage is 95%+
Fees and Financial Aid
As this college is affiliated with Mumbai University, the fee structure is as per the university guidelines. There are many scholarships provided by the Mumbai university and you can avail of those if you are eligible.
Campus Life
The campus life of Vidyalankar is one of the best in Mumbai. VERVE is the annual fest of Vidyalankar, where they invite many Bollywood Stars, everything is managed by the student council. Also every classroom has AC in it, teachers use Board as well as PPTs for explanation. Canteens offer Veg food only (except the CCD). College do have their cricket and football team.
