Course Curriculum Overview
Course structure is being revised annually to meet the industrial needs. Latest lab equipment have been installed and practical class are given to know about the latest technology and its uses in the field. Students are given permission to carry out research activities and use the lab equipment. Students are advised to take seminar and presentation about the new techniques and researches done.
Internships Opportunities
College has a in built industry which provide internships offer. As the college is reputed, many company offer internship courses as part of their curriculum. Robert bosh, D E Shaw, Cisco, etc. are few companies which have internship courses. Student receive 8000-16000 on average as general stipend.
Placement Experience
The college have a good placement record. 90% of the students are placed. All the IT companies Wipro, Accenture, CTS, etc. come every year of the campus. They provide a package around 2-3L per annum. Amazon, Flipkart, Dell offer around 6-8L per annum. Highest offer was 18L per annum buy DE shaw
College Events
Lots of event happen the college. Many international and national seminars are held usually once a month. You will have "Intrams" where there will be lot of cultural activities. It includes dance, Mime, Short film, Mimicry, Mono act, Singing,Rock on Show etc. We can enjoy as much as possible.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is as per Anna University if you go through Merit. For Management quota, Fee will be very expensive. 30 L for mechanical, Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, 25 L for Electrical & Electronics, Civil Engineering. 12L for Production Engineeing, Automobile Engineering & Robotics.
Fees and Financial Aid
For SC/ST Students, full scholarship is provided. For others, if the income of both the Parent is below 2 Lakhs, then they are eligible for academic scholarship.
Exam Structure
Every week we have two lab sessions and varies depending on the course you are studying. The college is autonomous and they are almost aligned with the dates of Anna university Guindy campus. Lab and semester exams are scheduled and tentative dates are given before the starting of odd semester.
Admission
Soon after the 12th board exams, buy anna university application form for engineering admissions (TNEA) in the month of may. Based on your PCM cutoff in 12th board exam, anna university counselling will be announced. Attend the counselling, Select the college and desired course. Go the college, and complete the admission procedures.
Faculty
Faculty are government staffs. All staffs are well qualified and adequate experience to teach a particular course. Staffs do various researches and keep a copy of their research in the college library for the students to access. All the staff have minimum 5 years of experience in the teaching field.
