Remarks

Admission in NSUT Delhi is based on JEE Mains percentile score and then the organization JAC Delhi conducts the counseling for the same. The cutoff rank is published for each round and for each branch and the students get admission accordingly to their preference list and the rank obtained. The admission process is not at all tedious just the wait between the rounds makes it more and more excited. Last year there were 5 rounds and 2 SPOT rounds (these rounds are conducted if the seats are left unfilled).

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I am from the Information Technology branch and always wanted to get into a tech-based branch as I was always interested in this branch. The faculty for this branch is very helpful and great at teaching as well. A maximum of the faculty are graduated from reputed institutes all around the nation, some of them are even PhDs. The exams are I would say towards a tough side and you will have to study for them. The frequency of the exams is also on the higher side, but in my opinion, that is what makes a student handle pressure and succeed and make the best out of him.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Internship opportunities are also similar to that of the placements. Enough companies visit the campus for the same. Some of the companies along with their stipend are listed;- 1. Uber - 1.5lac 2. Sprinklr - 2lac 3. Microsoft - 80k 4. Google - 60-80k. You also have many off-campus internship opportunities and can enhance your skills as well as earn some money as well.

Placement Experience

5

The placements are like the golden thing of my college, with over 170 companies visiting the campus every year it is the greatest thing about my college. You are eligible for placements in the 4th year i.e. 7th semester of the B.TECH PROGRAM. All the big brands such as Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Sprinklr, De-Shaw, Flipkart, Adobe, visit the campus. Each around 700 students are placed into these companies. The highest international package was 1.5 crore and the highest national package was 49 LPA. I am not aware of the average package of other branches but for Computer Science and IT branch, it is around 18 LPA which is really quite impressive. Also, the average package offered in branches such as mechanical is somewhere around 6-8 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

B.Tech is a comparatively expensive course to study, now being a Govt. Institute the fees of NSUT is still towards the lower end of the spectrum at around 8.5 lac for the 4 years B.Tech Program. Chattra Vitya Sahatya Evam Protsahan Kosh (CVSPK) is the scholarship scheme for the students of NSUT It is divided into three parts. 1. For Scholars at the University 2. Financial Assistance based on the Family Income 3. In case of the Death of the earning parent of the student. 1 - for the top 5% achievers of each program + CAT Scholars + UPSC toppers + top JEE rankers (under 2000 AIR) 2 :- up to 2 lac P.A - 100% tuition fee waiver 2 - 4 lac P.A - 50% tuition fee waiver 4-6 lac P.A - 25% tution fee waiver 6-8 lac P.A - 10% tutuion fee waiver Now coming to Placements, it is where our college excels. Each year more than 170 companies visit for on-campus placements. The packages range from 4 LPA to 1.5 crore LPA (international) 49 LPA (max package National)

Campus Life

4

The cultural fest is Moksha. A 4-day event with over 150 events and 25000 participation over the past 12 years Moksha has witnessed leading artists from the music industry performing on campus. The highlight of Moksha'14 being the laughter show by The Viral Fever (TVF) videos. Innovison is the tech fest of NSUT, with over 50 events this 2-day event is one of its kind. The events consist of events such as :- Robo-Wars ATV and Auto Expo Laser Show Felicity Music Night Science Expo many more We also have an Intra college event named Resonanxz. With the latest up-gradation in the classrooms, we have the APJ Complex where all our classes are conducted and let me tell you that they are just awesome. Fully smart classes, very well air-conditioned, seats are very comfortable, and are nothing short of an auditorium. The sports facility are also up to date with all the equipment up to date and big grounds and a basketball court volleyball court with football and cricket ground.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.
