Suraj Singla's Review On Maharaja Agrasen Institute Of Technology - [MAIT], New Delhi

I took the GGSIPUEE, the official entrance exam for the entrance in colleges of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha university. The exam name was GGSIPUEE b.tech entrance test. The exam is held in the month of may. The admission forms are released on the month of January and February. I got the rank of 1937 in the exam and got admission in MAIT.

I opted B.Tech. (Information Technology) in MAIT. The course structure is very well developed as in first year it focus on the general study so that a student can upgrade their fields if they want in the upcoming year. The courses include the subjects which we read in our previous class and carry on the knowledge to a practical extend which makes the subject and the study very interesting.

My college do provide internship but not to every student. The amount of internship is small so very few students are able to get any internship by the college. The general stipend of the internship is around 5-6 thousand per month but it may wary according to the task and company.

The college provide many placements. Probably all the students get the job after the third year of their college. Many companies come in the college for the placements like Accenture, infosys, and many other. The average package offered is about 2.5 to 3 lakhs. But this may wary according to the company and student's knowledge. The highest package offered is of 13 lakhs.

The college organised many cultural and social events on a very large scale in with students actively take part in. One of event which the college organize every year is Blood Donation Camp. The college organize the event every year with the association with rotary blood bank.

The fee structure is very well developed and is not very expensive. The expenses are divided reasonably and is not very objectionable. The overall fee for one year if around one lakh ten thousand. The academic fee, co-curricular fees, and other activity fees are also included in the overall fee.

Scholarships are provided to the students who performed great in their preceding year in the college. The freshers are also provided with some scholarships on the basis of their 12th class performance. On the basis of 12th class performance, loan may b sanctioned to the student easily, and they may get some rebid on the college fees.

Campus life is very fun and will have a great experience in the college. Gender ration is very fair and their is no diversity in genders. As the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha university is a university of Delhi so around 75% seats are reserved for Delhi students only due to which there is not much diversity of culture in the campus.

Alumni network is very strong in the college and senior interaction is very positive. As many events are organized by the college so the students are able to know their seniors and alumni much better and have a great interaction with each other.

The exam structure is prepared very well so that the student may not get any pressure on them. They conduct one internal exam series which complete half of the syllabus. After the internal exams, practicals are conducted. After internals, the external vivas and practicals are conducted in which externals from different colleges.

Firstly, i gave the GGSIPU entrance exam which is the official entrance exam to get admission in any college of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. My exam went very well and i got the rank of 1937 in the exam, due to which I got the admission in MAIT. When I went to college for admission process, there they asked for my DOB proof, 12th class certificates, and other important documents.

The teachers are very understanding and interesting too. They always try to make the subject easy to understand for the student so they we can coop up with the syllabus perfectly and are able to complete the syllabus as per the schedule. All the teachers are very educated and have a great knowledge of their subject.
