Entrance Preview

AIEEE, No interview. Direct admission with donation. I paid donation to get into this college. Admission process was simple.

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

Course is same as other mumbai university colleges. Nothing special in the curriculum. Research is very less. There is very less scope for research in this college. If you want to do time pass and pass engineering then this college is the best college for it. But if you want to do some serious research then this is not the college for you.

Internships Opportunities

No internships and no stipends at all. No companies came for Mechanical department and whichever companies came they are for IT and Computers departments. Companies like TCS came to hire mechanical student as well.

Placement Experience

0.5

Placement opportunities are worst despite being a top college in Navi Mumbai. I did not like the placement cell at all. Only Big company which visited our campus is TCS. There were no companies for mechanical department. The placement cell is least bothered about it.

College Events

5

Alegría – The Festival of Joy has become one of the most spectacular festivals of its kind in India. This celebration takes place every February as an audience of more than 40,000 people gather to behold incredibly talented young performers and star celebrities appear on stage.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is ok when I was studying. It was 70000 INR per year and we should pay it at the start of the year. I feel that college with this Infra is feasible and good to study in mumbai. But while paying fee there will be lot of crowd waiting in queue to pay and we have to wait in queue for almost one day.

Admission

I approached college and they promptly helped in getting admission. It was smooth process and no issues at all during the admission process. I had to produce domicile certificate since I was from different state, Andhra Pradesh. That took a while to get the certificate otherwise all others are fine in the admission process.

Faculty

1

Faculty depends on who teaches you and which subject they teach. Coming to Mechanical faculty most of them are doing ME or PHD and they are not so good at teaching. They just do not give proper instructions in teaching. But if you want to do some serious research then this is not the college for you.

In Kit college their are some rules for placement drive. In 7th sem companies started to visit our college. During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. The unplaced students have decided to go for MS.

Sakec have many job/internship opportunities. The college provides different trainings and intership opportunities. Currently, in 2023-24, 42 students have alreday been placed with 25 LPA (highest CTC offered). College have tie-up with many reknowed companies. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. My plan after getting the degree of bachelor of engineering is to go for masters and acknowledge more and more knowledge in engineering filed. And be my level best. I'm also looking forward for opportunities to go abroad for my mtech degree. Future my expectations form college are High. Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.

I'm choosing this course because I'm interested in programming languages. Faculty members here are at the best level. They are very supportive and knowledgeable. They made lectures most interactive. All faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. The course is very vast but the teaching faculty cover it through their extra lectures and practicals.
