"My College Life Experience"

1)I always want to become an Engineer since my childhood, And try to prefer this college for admission because of my brother, because he was also studied at the same college. That's why I did apply to other colleges like techno India, Netaji Subhas, etc, but not attending. 2)I didn't provide any quota for admission. 3)There did have an age limitation till 25 years, after that the students are not eligible for it. And our college required moderate rank (in between 7000 in wbjee). Our college always needs very good marks (ranks)in computer science and Information Technology and Instrumentation also. These all things present inside those students, they are eligible to take admission here. 4)Here the process of admission was so simple and easier for me. I didn't face any problems regarding the admission process. The counseling days were held in three ways, by those three counseling the whole admission processes are held till now. After being selected in counseling period, the students should go to college for admission.

1) After higher secondary examination some interest was created on my mind to gather some unknown information regarding various types of instruments like a potentiometer, CRO, moving the iron instrument, etc. I know that from this instrumentation trade I was able to learn about those things. That's why I applied for this course. 2)In our trade there are approximately 60 students and the number of teachers is approximately 10. So the ratio becomes 1:6. 3)In our college most of the teachers are belonging to ph.d level, and their teaching methods are awesome. Because in each and every semester I learned some different types of subjects which were totally unknown to me, by our teachers the all difficult things became clear. So I can say that the teaching methods of all faculties are very much good. 4)8 semesters totally happened in between 4 years, each semester contains 6 months, out of each semester one mid-semester did happen. And students need to obtain a minimum of 40 marks in each and every subject to pass.

Various types of companies like TCS, cognizant (IT sector), etc are provides internships in our college, and the internships are based on software interns, full-stack developers like that. Internshala also provides internships here which are based on different categories like business development executive and web design etc. I did also complete certain projects. The project was about a railway control system using Arduino, here all types of equipment like infrared sensors, ultrasonic sensors, buzzers, servomotors are connected with Arduino to complete the whole procedure. The outcomes are very important for us as this thing reduces the number of accidents in railway areas. Another project was about dual-axis solar tracker, here two axis are used to storing energy from the sun. Here we are preferred solar panels to Store energy and converted this energy from one to another form. Here the efficiency of this whole thing is very high, so, the outcomes also too much important for us to develop it.

Students are not eligible for campus placements till the 6th semester, from the 7th semester to the 8th Semester students become eligible for campus placements. Most of the reputed companies like TCS, cognizant, Wipro, Infosys, IBM are hired employees from our college also. These all are based on the IT sector, some non-technical companies are also hired from here which are based on sales and marketing regarding the position. I also got 3 to 4 jobs that are non-technical related like sales and marketing positions. In 2021, the highest salary package from our college was approximately nearer to 15 LPA from computer science trade and the job profile was based on software development trainee, and average salary package was 5-6 LPA from various types of company, in most of the cases job profile was software related. Percentage of students getting placements-85-90%. As I already got jobs which are based on sales and marketing position but right now I want to do higher study.

For the first semester, I gave 27050(twenty-seven thousand fifty ) which was the college fees for six months, and 7400(seven thousand four hundred) for six months' hostel fees. This was for the first semester, after that the semester fees were the same till last semester which was 27050, but hostel fees reduce to 5400 for six months. Some scholarship which are available under this college like Swami Vivekananda Scholarship. In this scholarship students must be able to get sixty thousand per year which is very helpful those are suffering economical problem. If some students are not eligible for scholarships, they are able to continue their studies by taking financial assistance from banks, the college also gives this type of opportunity for students. In the year of 2021, our college able to give placements approximately nearer to 85-90 percent, most of the reputed IT sector in our country like TCS, cognizant, Wipro, Infosys, IBM are hiring employees from our college also with very highly stipend.

Tech Fest and Annual Fest are conducted in our college approximately nearer to June -july.The name of those fests are- Uit annual festival -2k19,2k20 like that, Uit Tech Fest -2k19,2k20 like that. In the library all types of books are available. Like for electrical (thereja), for instrumentation (a.k.sahani), for every subjects student are able to get various books by various writers. There have a lot of amenities in our classroom, the area is too much large, and there have a lot of seats and lots of light and fans, a very big blackboard, etc. Annual sports also happen in our college in the wintertime especially. All types of sports like cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, table tennis happen. We all were enjoying very much in those time. And there have also various types of extra curriculum activities like painting, singing, dancing program. We have one UIT BU social media group, by this group we are able to complete a little bit of work regarding it.

There have very good facilities which are provided through the hostel. They are provided all things which are important for stay. All things like bed, fan, light, study table, racks, shoe rack. The toilet is also very good, there doesn't have any type of problem regarding water, light, fan, etc. Mess is also attached with the hostel, here food quality is very good, very healthy which is also not harmful to our health. All types of food are available here like fish, chicken, mutton, eggs, veggies, etc. All dishes are very tasty and good for health also. For the first time, the registration fee is 7400(for six months) and after that, it is reduced to 5400(for six months)till last semester. I did take a hostel, so I don't have any experience with any room or PG.
