To get enrolled in the BCA program from IMS Ghaziabad, you need to have a minimum of 60% marks in your 10th and 12th there's no such age limit so far. There is a personal interview to check your general knowledge and knowledge about the field you are opting for. They also guide you about what's ahead.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course as I had an interest in computers and want to become an analyst in the near future. Faculty members here are top-in-class well skilled and experienced, teaching method is nice, easy, and practical so the students can connect to it. Exams are Semester wise and easy to pass if you are regular in class.
Internships Opportunities
Best-in-class opportunities will knock on your doors during your time in IMS, it all depends on how you grab them. Live projects and guest lectures are conducted from time to time to keep the students engaged. Companies like Sony, Asian paints, Byjus, etc, give internships either paid or unpaid but it's all about field experience in the end.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible from the 5th sem to get campus placement. Various Tech Giants visit here for placements like HCL, Wipro, Infosys, Deloitte, HP, etc. The highest package offered was 13 LPA, 4-5 LPA being the average. College provides 100% placement assistance. My plan after completing the course is to get placed in a well-known organization as a Data Analyst.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fee of the BCA program is Rs 1,35,000 per year. Various scholarships are offered in our college based on various quotas, 12th percentage, goverment scholarships, etc. I got a Campus Job with a stipend in a Student-Driven Department known as EWL (Earn While Learn) which handles various works around the campus like photography, content writing, and graphic designing.
Campus Life
The library at IMS is rich in books and journals with all the academic and research books. Classrooms are filled with all basic amenities like projectors, boards, air-conditioners, etc. The college has a big ground and all sports equipment availabilities, there are also various extracurricular held on the campus like dance, drama, instrument learning, singing, and various other club activities. Our college has 23 Student-Driven clubs.
Interview Experience
A personal Interview was held where our general knowledge was checked accompanied by the knowledge of the course we are choosing. First, the admission form is filled and then a PI is scheduled if you cleared all the criteria for enrollment. I studied Basic computers and the Syllabus from my 12th class.
