Remarks

I am a student of AEC nad this college is good enough for overall development. Age limit 17+ Marks is not constant I have no quota but I get one scholarship called swami Vivekananda scolarship for that I got an approx 1.5 lakh reduction in my academics.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is pretty good but not that structured. Because mostly the IT companies are coming for placements but as the department is ECE so we have to fight for both the core subjects and the IT subjects. So it is a bit difficult for us. But the really good thing is the faculty, they are not only good but also they help students in their study and work.

Class Size: 128Course Fees: INR 450000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are too many internship opportunities also but I didn't get any internships but the good thing is i have been selected in the very first company I seat for. A company like virtusa, opensilicon comes with various internship opportunities.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees in ECE is 90k for joining time and after that each semester 45k to 49k INR. There are soo many scholarships like swami vivekananda scholarship. Even I got one scholarship for that i don't need to pay the tution money that is approx 1.5 lpa for 3 semesters

Campus Life

Life on the campus is very good. There are soo many clubs, societies, student chapters for students like robotics society, SIC, hardware club ad many more. We try new things there and explore different domain but due to this lockdown everything is not going okk.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
