Admission through wbjee. Took admission here as it was well-reputed and close to my house. The counseling was through wbjee. I got CSE dept in 2nd counseling. The admission process was easy. After counseling, I went to college for document verification and finalized the admission process.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the Computer science stream as it was the one I was looking for. The computer science department faculty is very helpful here. They are always ready to help round the clock. The exams are very timely taken and are on par with the university guidelines.
Internships Opportunities
There are companies that come to our college for internships. Since I did not apply or got one I am not the right person to say much about the internship. Companies like nagarro Flipkart and many more come to take students for internships.
Placement Experience
Students in the 3rd and 4th sem are eligible for placements.This college has a very good relationship with tcs and other such companies. Last few years the college has been gaining reputation for good placements. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and many more visit here. Our senior has got almost 80-90 percent placed
Fees and Financial Aid
The course has a fees of 4.2 lakhs approx. Which is very nominal for any b tech. Engineering college. There is no such fees hike policy in Asansol Engineering College. The course fee structure is provided before admission, so everything is transparent. One can apply through this quota durong counseling. In my case I didn't get any Quota or stipend.
Campus Life
Fest is the only place where this college lacks a bit. Yes, many small events are organised by various clubs but on large scale it is hard to find. Bokls an journals are available in the library. Th classrooms are okish. Sports day is organised once in a year and there are ground and kits for different sports. There are many different clubs though like tech club, hardware club, entrepreneurship club, cultural club.
