I have heard about this college and found it good. I am from the general quota so no benefits. In my case i have applied with wbjee rank. The admission process was a lengthy lot of information was required and counseling was too frustrating.
Course Curriculum Overview
2-month frequency for term exam. The exam is good with a proper following of rules. Invigilators were strict and the exam counts in sem result. The proper date is assigned for examination and the exam is taken in shifts. Like i have two exams in a day shift1 and shift2 with a one-hour break. Exam duration is 1.5 hour and marks counts to 30.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure in my college is decent. It is a private college but the fee is nominal around 50k per semester it will charge you. The cost of living in West Bengal is also very cheap you would easily find paying guest rooms around the college. So college also provides many scholarships with 8.5 CGPA above you get a bonus from college. And many other government and NGOs funded scholarships are also available to the students.
Campus Life
The annual fest is organized by the college on yearly basis but due to the control pandemic, no such events are organized by the college. The fest is organized around year-end which is in November and December. A full-fledged library is there with books available all time of different variety. Various tech clubs and other communities are made available to the student. The campus in not so friendly and its very small so don't expect many sports activities you will be disappointed in this arena.
