Pandemic view about the college

I had also applied for St.Xaviers Collefe,Kolkata and has also cleared it's first cut off list but still my dream was to land in Delhi University. So, I waited for the cut offs of Delhi University and hopefully i got admitted in S.G.T.B Khalsa college.The admision procedure was quite simple and easy to understand.

Since i had my mind set to do MBA as my masters and being a student of commerce background B.Com hons was the best suitable course for me.Moreover, I had liking in finance and accounts. So, I chose this course. The students ratio is quite satisfying in this college. The teachers are also very approachable and they help to clear all our doubts. Since due to the covid pandemic the exams were scheduled in abit different manner and pattern still it was not that much difficult to pass the exams.

One of the company named De Shaw had offered a stipend of 50000 per month .One company named Upbringo offered stipend of 6000 to 8000 per month for a position of corporate event manager. I got myself enrolled in an unpaid internship in a comapny named The Policy Times for the position of event manager. It was an mesmerizing experience as it helped me getting connected with various personalities and helped in enhancing my soft skills too

The students become eligible as and when they get in the 3rd and year and start with 5th semester. KPMG, EV are few top companies that are indulged in our college for placements. The highest ctc has veen around 7 to 10 lakhs p.a and average ctc is around 2.5. To 3 lakhs p.a. The most talented ones get to be placed. Well i have plans for going for masters degree after my graduation and looking for a institution abroad.

The best feature of being in a college of Delhi University is that the college's fee doesn't turn out to be a burden. It is even lesser than school fees in today's era. My college charges around 26000 per year which is quite a nominal amount to be paid for graduation.

Since the pandemic hit most parts of the world our on-campus experience is still a dream.Being an out of station student this is one of our cons i.e. not being able to visit the college. But still hoping that the pandemic me subside and we may get to start our on-campus life.
