Remarks

After clearing of CET of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University I applied for every college of IPU for the BCA program. Then i got chance to take admission in United College of Education. About admission criteria in my program first, a person (who wants to take admission) should complete the registration process, after that after some days he/she will receive a admit card for CET(Common Entrance Test). After the result of CET if he/she qualifies then he/she will got rank and then time for counseling, there are many rounds in counseling. After counseling the person got his/her admission. About age and minimum marks required, age should be 17 or above, minimum marks 50% marks in 12th class with any stream.

I choose this course because i have an interest in computers and programming. Faculty are enough for us. Maximum faculty of our college are Ph.D. holders In every six months, we held Our semester exams it's not too difficult to pass them you just have to score only 40%.

Internships Opportunities

No internship is offered by any company for our college, students have to take off-campus internships. No opportunities available by the college for an internship for us yet. But last our college provides internships for 3rd-year students.

Placement Experience

From 5th sem students become eligible for campus placements. HCL visited our college for a company visit. Only 25% of students get placement, some will go for higher studies, and some go for off-campus placements. My plan after getting a degree is a Startup.

Fees and Financial Aid

In 1st year i submitted 55000 for a year. In the 2nd year i submitted 67400 and after some months interim fess also 20720. In 3rd year i submitted 67060. I haven't got any scholarship or financial assistance from the college.

Campus Life

Anugoonj is our major fest which is held by our university. Our library has every book related to our course We got a good classroom with air conditioners and a projector and podium also. About sports in our college every year we held cricket matches and other sports too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the BCA program because of my interest in software development and web technologies. The curriculum’s focus on core subjects like Java, C++, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) was a major deciding factor, as these are the building blocks for a career in IT. ?The syllabus could be updated more frequently to include emerging technologies like Cloud Computing or AI/ML as core subjects rather than electives. Moving away from traditional rote learning toward more project-based learning would be beneficial. More frequent industry guest lectures would also bridge the gap between academia and corporate life The exam will be I would rate the difficulty as moderate. If you stay consistent with your lab work and internal assignments, the end-semester exams are quite manageable. The technical papers (like Mathematics or Architecture) tend to be the most challenging.

The Good and the Bad about BBD University by a second year student

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th sem we eligible for the campus placement, There are various highly-reputed companies that come for the placement such as Microsoft, Paytm, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, hcl, etc. Their average package is 2.2 lakh per annum And the highest package is 10 lakh per annum, The average of students for the placement is 80-90%. My plan is to get a good placement from there and to do a job for one or two years after that I will prefer higher education.
