If you are serious then you will not regret for CEMK

Well, I have joined this college via West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam. I have secured a 25000 rank and I got Computer Science & Engineering branch in this college. You should have a minimum of 75% in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics in each subject and 80 in English. I have not applied for any management quota.

The reason I chose this course is only because I am a Technology lover since childhood. I want to learn deeply about Computers. Faculties are well experienced, most of them are Post graduated (M.Tech). But sometimes I feel like they have a spoken English problem as the college is in West Bengal so as a Bengali student I don't have faced any issue till now but who are from other board they often does. We have main two semister exams organized by MAKAUT University and also we have some Class exams called CA1, CA2, CA3, CA4 along with practicals exams also. So yes exam pressures are quite hard, but still, the syllabus is not that hard.

From 7th companies approach students from our college. Well, it is not fixed but an average of 10-14 companies visit our college every year. I have no idea about offers but 90% of CSE students got offers from campus placements. The highest package is 7 LPA and the average package is 3.2 LPA per year in our college. 90% of CSE students got placed and overall 55% of students got placed in all departments. My plan is after getting my degree is to seek a good package job or higher studies like M.Tech.

For a day-scholar, he/she has to pay 42.5 thousand per semester where the hosteller has to pay 70 thousand approx ( depends on food, electricity) per semester. Our college does not provide any scholarship but you can apply for an SVMCM scholarship if you have enough marks(YGPA) there you will get 60 thousand per year which is a massive amount. Well, I am still in my college not passed out but according to passed out Seniors most of the students from CSE brunch, almost 90% got placed into good companies like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant. But in the last year due to covid 19 placement record dropped down by 76% which is ok as we all know the reason. Our College does not offer internships but will try their best via email, face to face talks so that you can get an offline internship.

Our college hosts 3 fests every year, the last fest was Toykathon 2020. But now these are stopped for Covid but still, your campus life will be amazing here. I will rate it 10 out of 10. The whole campus is covered by a Greeny environment and a wifi facility is there 24/7. One Basketball Ground, One Gym, One Big PlayGround also a beautiful lake is there where you can go for relaxing in your free time. Various College Tech Seminars are organized by Seniors throughout the whole year.
