The course curriculum is set by Amaravati University which is not that advanced and the test of university are quite simple. If you compare it with IITs or NITs it is quite inferior. Yet, if you want to go for POST graduation, the things covered are just ok to clear basics of Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering that is GATE.

No, college does not provide internship at private companies, again here university to blame. The semester pattern is set such a way that students hardly find any time for extra curricular activities or Internship in company.

The placement in campus has been decent but has been gradually declining. 2011 saw surge in placements where as good as 80% of students were placed out of which TCS itself recruited 130, India bulls 23, Siemens 3, L&T 4, HSBC 4, PSL 3 and many other major recruitment took place. There are various events celebrated in college by cultural council of college and technical students chapter like IEEE, ISTE, SAE, CESA, MESA etc. The technical events there are some college level and some of them are are national level such as Pursuit one if the national technical event.

There are various scholarship that are offered by government and college students are beneficiary of most of such scheme. Along with that college also helps students from weaker family section and waives off their hostel and mess fees.

Examination structure is set by SGB Amaravati University, which is just ok and not challenging as one would expect. It has Laboratory and theory examination. The total number of semester are 8, out of which first year has common subjects and from second year students will have to study subjects of respective branches.

One has to appear for Maharashtra State Common entrance test for Engineering and Medical, and then you have to apply for Central Admission Process (Rounds) after the dates declared by government. The option of Management seats is also available in this college where your PCM score is in consideration.

The faculty here average, since the syllabus isn't that great so is their teaching , we have pretty uninspiring and insipid syllabus for Mechanical Engineering course, university to blame for pathetic syllabus they have prescribed for students. Hope the things will be better when government will crack a whip for quality engineering education.
