Remarks

I have applied to IIM Ahmedabad but due to CAT low rank, I didn't get it. My admission through government quota rank. I belong to sc category. The admission criteria are qualifications of CAT entrance exam have under the rank of 20-200 rank.

Course Curriculum Overview

After doing my BTech in chemical engineering. I loved to do MBA. Faculties are too good all are helpful and motivated in tends situations. Faculties are qualified for all entrance exam that's the need for this job. All professors are pdh holders and also doing work in the different research sectors. Exam time duration is different.

Class Size: 300Course Fees: INR 250000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Wipro, tata, Walmart, Google etc giving internships and training provide with some paid stipend Last year I am doing the job as a fresher in Wallmart India at Noida Delhi. Walmart giving some stipend money of about 15000 per month.

Placement Experience

Last year college MBA students are eligible for the campus placement interview. Wallmart tata Wipro, Adani, Aditya Birla etc companies have come to my college. The highest package is 24-11 lakh per annum. Almost all the students are placed in this college. My plan after getting the degree is to doing job.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees hike policy are too high iit take a high demand fee for an MBA course minimum of 2.5 lakh only course fee except for other things. National scholarship portal is a central government portal that provides scholarships for backward class students.

Campus Life

IITs Roorkee conducted many annual fests within the year many cultural and social fest is organised in this college. Library and books are available in this collage you can borrow books. Winter season University organised sport and extracurricular activities on the campus. Robotic sme cultural and poetry club etc.

Hostel Facilities

All the rooms are comfortable and ac rooms All day mess cooks both veg and non veg food you have a choice to eat which type of food(but you take only non-veg mess are charge extra fee). Registration process after admission to this college. The college also offers to fill the form of hostel admission form. Pg is also available in the locality area.

Hostel Fee: INR 18000 per year

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was very good. The specialization which I chose was a very new concept and this university provides that particular specialization. The teaching methods were also very good with experienced teachers and weekly presentations also with different assignments.

Placement Experience:

In digital marketing nearly 90% it the students are placed in top startup companies like the Boat, Minimalist and all who needs digital presence to sell their products. Jobs offered are of 50-80k a month and for MBA freshers this is a kind package.

Campus life

Placement Experience:

For masters student student from 3rd semester are eligible for the campus placement. For bachelor students from 6-7 semester students are eligible for the campus placement. Federal bank, taj hotel, Techmutant software solutions, cradlewise, patanjali, etc. many more companies are there which visit the campus. There is 60-70% criteria for students to get the placement as 60% are the eligibility criteria for many companies and some companies have 70% eligibility criteria for the placement. Our university has 85% placement in dehradun region as compared to other universities. My plans are taking a good job and work hard to become independent.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate is around 90%. Students become eligible for campus placements from the start of 3rd semester, although you can get in earlier through summer internship and ppos. Overall average package is around 8 lakh. Top 15% students get 14-17 lakh. Highest package for this year was 33 lakh. Many top companies like Amazon, Adani, EY, PwC, KPMG, Accenture, Adobe, Microsoft, Infosys, BlueDart, Dell, Deloitte, Genpact and more come to the campus. I aim on getting into big 4 consulting firms.

i think from 3 rd semsester students are eligble for campus placements iam from 1 sem thats why i didnt eligble for that higest is like 20 lakhs and lowest is 3 lakhs per anam they show 90 percent but actually only 10 percent of students get placed i am planning to get a job ncr

Insights of the college through student eye

Placement Experience:

At the end of end semesters college started to get internship and their are a number of them of every type. Students should choose it of any kind. For placement companies started to come in collage in 3rd semesters and one should apply for placement. Till now many companies were there including 99acers, Arvind fasion, Wipro, Google and so on.

The feeling of being in IIT Roorkee

I didnt applied for any other colleges other than some iits which were iit bombay, kanpur, roorkee, guwahati. Just these four and nothing because i got a decent rank in JEE Adv 2025. No i didnt get rejection from any college with my rank in jee main and advanced 2025 The admission process is straight like 1) JEE main 2) JEE Advanced 3) Josaa counselling Cutoff for top seven iits is higher than all other iits neans that you cant get into top seven just by qualifying jee advanced, you must have a good rank....Read More

IIT ROORKEE - A SCRUPULOUS REVIEW

I took part in jossa councelling and got it . I was happy with any of seven old iits . In better way , i would be happy in going any top iit. Moreover i choose it because of it's weather and location. Rest all things are similar to all top iits. Nothing is less in iit roorkee. You have to give jee main then jee advanced. As we know IIT ROORKEE is one of the oldest engineering college in while asia and has a very good alumini connection and placement record so i chose it and it is also closer to my home. IIT Roorkee - The complete story

I had 4 main options in hand after JEE - BSc Physics in IISC Bangalore (I had cleared KVPY), Electrical engineering in IIT Indore, EPH in IIT Roorkee, and Computer Science in Nit Trichy. I did not choose IISC, as I wasnt sure whether I wanted my career to be in research. My coaching faculties advised me not to take an NIT when I was getting a top 7 IIT. It was a tough choice choosing between EE in IITI, and EPH in IITR. However, at the end, I choose Roorkee because of its legacy, better facilities, and a calmer environment.
