Remarks
The admission process for bachelor of management studies (bms) in Aryabhata college is through the University of Delhi. I availed obc ( other backward class - non-creamy layer) quota while taking admission in my college. There are overall 7 quotas accepted by the University of Delhi ( obc, sc, st, pwd, Jammu and Kashmir migrants, ward and army quota.) For availing of the quota, one should have an updated quota certificate. The admission criteria for this program is that you have to give an entrance test, i.e DUJAT (Delhi university joint admission test) conducted by the University of Delhi. This exam is conducted for three-course i.e BMS, BFIA, and BBE. The eligibility for this test is, you should have studied maths and English in your class 12th. Students from any stream can appear in this exam. The weightage of the result includes - 65% weightage of the entrance test and 35% weightage of 12 board exams. The result is through percentile basis and admission for the course is through ranks.
Course Curriculum Overview
After opting for commerce in senior school, students generally opt for b.Com and BBA in their bachelor's degree and after completion of their bachelor's, they opt for MBA. BMS is a course that is a mixture of b. Com and BBA and is suitable course before MBA. This is a reason for opting BMS degree. Being a reputed college and under a name university, the faculty of the college is up to the mark, from teachers to staff to the principal. Being a central university, the teachers are very much qualified, they all have given examination and then admitted to the college. Teachers are highly experienced, they have years of experience and understand each and every student. Examination and held on a semester basis, i.e twice a year, and internals are conducted before each exam. There are extra tests if required as per the subject. The difficulty of the level is 4/5. It is not too difficult to pass exams. A person with good attendance and internals with moderate exam marks can pass.
Internships Opportunities
There are numerous internships offered by the college for the students. The student can apply for internships from the first year of college. The internships are paid and with certificates and stipends. The course offered by the course is marketing intern, sales intern, he intern, and many more.
Placement Experience
Every student is eligible for campus placement after 2nd year. Companies visited are Amazon, Decathlon, UrbanClap, and many more. The highest package of the course is 500000 and average is 350000 by the companies. 20-30% of students get placement in the BMS course. My plan after BMS is for MBA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of the course, i.e BMS is 25000 per year, which is a bit high as compares to college offering the same course in the university. There was no fees drop in spite of online classes and lockdown, but there was financial assistance provided by the college to the students who faced problems during covid. There are many scholarships provided by the college due to the placement cell of the college, all the internships are paid and with a stipend which makes students very much comfortable to earn pocket money.
Campus Life
The fest is conducted every year in February month in the college, but students can visit many more fest on the campus of different colleges. The college has a decent and large availability of books and laptops. Students can easily avail books and laptop The classrooms are clean and neat. There is a tremendous opportunity and clubs for sports and extra curriculum activities in the college. Simply student can go to the college website and can get the knowledge of all the clubs and groups i.e aryabhattacollege.ac.in
