Remarks
I applied for BA History in magadh University but didn't get admission there as my first priority was Patliputra University over magadh University. I applied with an OBC caste certificate, which helped in getting 10 marks lower cutoff as per reservation quota. The admission process is simple you have to appear with all your documents on the college campus, once your name appears in the merit list . The minimum mark required for BA History is 65% on the 12th board. The admission process is quite simple, i have to appear for online counseling available at the college website, and then in the campus with all my documents.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose History because I'm interested in the subject since childhood. I want it to be helpful in my UPSC preparation. The student-faculty ratio is fairly good at the campus, it's 30:1. All the faculty members of the History department are highly qualified with massive experience. They teach in regional language. Exams are conducted thrice a year and it's easy to overcome them, all exams are held on time every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees hike is negligible, it happens after every four years by a little margin. The cost of study here would be around 20000 for the whole three-year tuition + other fees. Students can avail Cheif minister post-matric scholarship if they are eligible. however, the college is very affordable as per the course and quality provided.
Campus Life
The annual fest celebrated here is ANTRA and it is held every year on the nights of December. The library here at the campus is very famous and contains thousands of books and journals on different subjects. The classroom environment is very satisfying, fully equipped classes with lights, fans, smartboard, etc. Sports like volleyball, chess, kho-kho are held regularly on a team basis as activities of extra curricular. There is no any groups or association of students in the college.
