Remarks

Pragjyotish College is one of the best colleges for BSc Computer Science. The criteria for admission is one should have a minimum percentage of 50 and a minimum age of 17. Admission was totally based on merit. We students were asked to wait in a classroom and then we were called in descending order of our marks.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose BSc Computer Science because it has many scopes for getting jobs and to do something productive by ourselves. The faculty-student ratio is about 1:20 Most of our faculty have a degree of PhD in Computer Science. After every six months exam is held and the difficulty is average.

Class Size: 12Course Fees: INR 7000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure usually is like below - Every odd semester - Rs 6000 Every semester - Rs 1000 No scholarship or any financial assistance or any job placements is there in our pragjyotish college. We found no such opportunity in our college

Campus Life

The campus is eco-friendly and quite beautiful with a very big area. Every 1st month of the year we have an annual sports week. And other than that in every new academic year we have a big fresher's ceremony for the newcomers and farewell for our beloved seniors. We have all kinds of books in our library especially related to our subjects including a reading room. We have all kinds of amenities in our college. We do not have any kind of clubs yet.

My opinions on PRAGJYOTISH COLLEGE

I was preparing for competitive exams like JEE and CUET , but they didn't work out and most of the colleges like Cotton , B Borah and all dosent provide BSc in computer science. I didn't got a rejectection , but the seat was completely filled by the time i got there. The process for getting admission is : After class 12 results, you have to apply in a website called Samarth , to apply in all over Assam colleges. You can apply in how many you like . In some colleges you can take addmission through JEE scores , or by CEE And by CUET also . The cutoffs aren't much high for this college, 60-70% will get you addmission in Pragjyotish college.
