Remarks
I scored 19000 in my Eamcet and I applied for 2 colleges, JNTU and AU. Luckily I got AU so I joined. I didn't avail any quota. I am of OBC so cut-off is 25000 I guess. Counseling is online at that time and we all waited for the day. There are no major drawbacks and I liked this college
Course Curriculum Overview
I love civil and mechanical. I feel them be more lively and I simply opted for them. My class strength is 60 at that time, I think it is not too bad. Main professors are talented and experienced. But usually, they send junior lectures. AU examination is difficult. There are semester-wise exams and at that time there are bandhs and strikes.
Placement Experience
From the 3rd year, we are eligible for campus placements. IBM, Accenture, Infosys, ITC, and a number of 10 or more companies visited. The highest is ITC around 24 lakh package and they offered only 2 Software highest is IBM with 4lakh package and they offered more than 50 around 65 percent of students got placed that year I thought of joining IBM and I did
Fees and Financial Aid
Cost is okay at that time compared to private colleges. 35000 per term is good actually. I didn't get any scholarships but there are few government scholarships. And about campus, we got so many prestigious companies like IBM, Accenture, Infosys, ITC I myself got placed in IBM in campus placement though I moved out of IBM 2 years back.
Campus Life
In 3 years there is one fest. That was good and we enjoyed it a lot. It is for 3 days named Igenisis. The library is good. Not over the top. You won't get many books there. Classrooms are okay.Government college so we have to adjust a lot There are sports events and competitions. There are few social groups like AU facts, Bookclubs, Writing marathons.. I got my writing hobby from that particular club and I am very grateful for joining that.
