A complete journey of B pharmacy in BST

NSHM knowledge campus,CIPT,Dr B.C ROY college of pharmaceutical and allied health sciences,Bengal college of pharmacy,Gupta college of pharmacy,Bharat Technology etc have come under my choice list. But Bengal school of technology was the top most priority as I came to know about discipline, punctuation and regularity of BST. Beside this well connectivity is also a priority as a day's scholar.I am a OBC- B candidate, although my selection has done as a general candidate as the general rank was easily suitable for selection and get a seat in this college. My obc rank was 6653.To admit in B.pharm course,required atleast 50% of marks for general,and 45% marks for sc st obc candidate. The candidate must be 17 years old atleas and no upper age limit for wbjee. English subject is mandatory in 10th and 12th for appearing wbjee.The counciling was preschedeuled,and choice filling was required. After that basis 3rounds had conducted.Candidate should fill the choice as per their priority.

Bpharma is a way to serve as a health community. This is the way of new drug discovery and research about new disease prevention.It has high value in business and industrial field.Thats why I have opted for this.Ratio of faculty: student is 1:15.The capacity is 100+ student in each year.The faculties are PhD fellows,experienced in both academic and industrial field.There are both smart and normal classrooms present.In BST board work is must as faculty wants to grew core concept.Regular doubt clearing, problem solving and practical oriented knowledge has been supplied to us.Besides,the gpat classes is also e effective one for competitive exam in national level.Exams are frequent as each month one CA has been conducted. But there is no worries as syllabus has been completed thoroughly so that we could not face any kind of trouble. For semester, personal work and faculty note is enough for getting 8.5+ CGPA.

Cipla Medopharm Sun pharma Deys medical Gluconate Dr reddy etc are the main companies where mainly internship program has done. In these companies, students are used as trainee professional so that they can easily accommodate with an industrial atmosphere. Various department in production documentation work has been done by the students. Mentioning there was no stipend in this industrial training period. Various kind of project has been done by us. My project was New drug development and by which I have enriched about many unknown factors of drug procurement and development process and wish to use this knowledge in my upcomings.

The students from 7th semester are eligible for jobs.Companies like Nestle Tablets india Alembik Maccloaids Glackso, Cognizant cipla has come. Almost 80% student got placed as per their choice. The highest salary has offered is almost 4.5L per annum where Lowest is 2.5 lakh per annum. Jobs are from mainly Quality control production and marketing executive types. For me I've opted higher study and thus I was appeared in GPAT exam and qualified and got my Mpharm seat in the Quality Assurance subject. My rank was 11th in pget and 2070 in GPAT 2021.

In those days the cost is quite reachable. Around 3.5lakhs is course fee but in case hostel accommodation is needed the price will be near about 5.5 lakh. So the price is high in the view of recent days as the cost will surely increase. But for poor and financially weaker sections will be considered and given support from the college. Book cost is almost nil as the library is capable to give books to each of the students. I've not opted for any job as a Mpharm aspirant. I've qualified in GPAT 2021 and come under AICTE scholarship which is 12400 rupees/month upto the competition of my M.pharm course.

The biggest event of BST is it's fest named Inferno. Besides this Ecell is also a tech-fest, organized in-house by BST. The Inferno is mainly celebrated in the month of February. The Ecell is conducted in September.BST provides a high-class library with sufficient text as well as numerous reference books.The journals are regularly collected and preserved for further reference. All these are any time accessible. Both normal and high-tech smart classrooms are present having a capacity of 80 students. Projector-oriented and blackboard, both types are available.The annual sports include cricket, football, volleyball race long and high jump tag of war, etc outdoor games. An indoor game like carrom chase etc are included. Debate, recitation, writing completion dance drama, etc are well admired extracurricular activities.BST fan club photography club literacy club drama club are the main groups ruled by students.
