One of the best College of Delhi University

I filled form for Delhi University through which I could take admission in any college under the University. I have selected Kirori Mal College because it is better than any other and also the faculty is good and almuni is also very active. Admission process was the percentage of top 4 subjects i.e Mathematics and 3 other subjects and also for pursuing BSC Hons Mathematics the student have to secure atleast 95 marks in mathematics. Our counceling session was held online and principal of our college Vibha Mam told us about all the rules and regulations and also about many things related to college.

I have decided to go for teaching line and I have decided it in 9th standard so I choose this course. Also, the faculty-student ratio is 1:50 there are approx 100 students in BSC Hons Mathematics so the students are divided into two sections based on their roll numbers. The faculty is highly qualified and many of our teachers are Ph.D. degree holders. Some of them are in research work too. They all are highly experienced and also they share their experiences so that we can learn from them. All the teachers are very supportive.

Seekify, Leverage Edu, and many companies are there that offer internships for the students. Many of them provide stipends too some provide stipends based on performance. In some internships we have to work as a content writer or graphics designer or in some we have to deal with costumes.

There is a Placement Cell in the college that helps in the placements of the students. There is less percentage of students who took Direct placement from the college. Many students go for UPSC, some go for higher studies, some for MBA, some for banking, and other exams. There are many lines after Mathematics Hons. I will go for higher studies My teachers also help me to prepare for IIT JAM and other entrance exams.

There is no problem related to fees as the college has scholarships for students who belong to economically weaker sections and who are not able to pay the fees. Even the college has taken an initiative so that the teachers and other students also contribute to this. There is team Avenues in the college which provides us with the info for many internships and also there is Placement Cell of our college.

Aarambh is the team which is run by the students of our college also NSS students teach the village students and usually go for donating something to the needy people. There are many societies in the college which help in the personal development of the student and help to work on his/her interest. There are many books in the library which you can lend anytime. Also, there are many fests usually in the month of March.
