CET RANK 17890 mechanical was my field of interest, this college i selected because it had a good name in the field of engineering.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college is good for mechanical engineering branch because it has highly experienced teachers and other facilities relating to the course like labs workshops, seminars are conducted frequently entrepreneurs are appreciated library is well established.
Internships Opportunities
No college does not provide internship, but it gets few companies to the campus which offer internship courses.
Placement Experience
For mechanical engineering it is just ok as the number of core companies. Which come for campus recruitment are about 15 at its max number and most of the companies. Which visit are for the IT sector jobs hence not much opportunities are available to the mechanical core work if thats ur line of interest.
Fee Structure And Facilities
it is affordable for admissions through CET costing about 58000/- each year but if the admission is through management it is very costly affair costing about 3 lakh each year and goes up-to 6 lakh for non indian students it is still costly affair.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are provided to the reserved backward classes not much opportunities are available to the mechanical core work if that is your line of interest.
Campus Life
Mechanical department has a ratio of 95:5 ratio of boys vs girls whereas for other branches it has almost equal ratio of boys: girls, the college plays pretty fair with issues and no race or any type of discrimination is observed and it does not appreciate any type of discrimination.
Exam Structure
They conduct 3 internals of which the marks best of two obtained are averaged and this is for 30 marks, 10 marks are for surprise test and 10 for assignment test/assignments. This sums to 50 marks which is the max the rest 50 marks are for the external examination which is conducted at the end of each semester.
Faculty
Few faculties are just for the heck of it and have no idea what they are teaching, but most of them are well qualified and experienced teachers the H.O.D is really good Dr. kiran aithal and overall the faculty team is good and senior teachers are very helpful in guiding us with projects and other important research work.
