Remarks

Because of the pandemic, the admission process was at online mode, Online mode saves time and money as compared to offline mode, and as a student safety comes first. To get admission to this Dyal Singh college you should score a minimum of 90% in 12th board.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty is very good, the teachers are friendly, they provide us with smart classes. Due to the pandemic, the exams were held in an online mood. The exams were of 100 marks i.e 75 marks of theory and 25 marks of practical. To pass the examination you should score a minimum of 33 marks, it's not that difficult to pass the examination.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 10000 per year

Internships Opportunities

- Jio - Infosys - TCS - Tech Mahindra - Maruti Suzuki, etc. These are the reputed companies that provide internship opportunities with a good stipend. Projects such as - Monitoring incentives - Analysis of the contribution of insurance companies Etc.

Placement Experience

The placements are good enough, they also provide us internship opportunities with a good amount of stipend, many reputed companies also provide job offers to Dyal Singh college students. To get placed in a company depends upon the person's skills ( computerized knowledge, communication skills ) and talent. If we talk about the percentage to get placed is almost 40-50%.

Fees and Financial Aid

They also provide scholarships but I don't have the detail knowledge about this stuff. Dyal Singh college also provides financial assistance, the fees are very decent i.e 8000-9000/year for B.com. program course, the lower middle class can easily afford this course.

Campus Life

The ground is very huge, library facilities quite good, smart classes are also available. There are many social clubs like NCC, NSS, Placement cells, illuminer councils, and many more. Sports that are played in the college are Cricket, Basketball, Volleyball.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.
