College during pandemic- PGMCOE

I had applied to only a few colleges which include COEP which is a Govt. college itself and the second one is MIT college of engineering which is a private college in Pune Maharashtra and the third one is my college in which I am currently pursuing my B.E degree in the fields of Information Technology. I didn't take any Quota because I'm in a general category itself. The admission process is as same as other colleges the cap rounds in which you have to select colleges according to your preferences and marks. The minimum age is 18 and the minimum percentage to take admission in this college is 50% based on which category you belong to.

I had a dream from my childhood of becoming a computer engineer that's why I took admission in this course. The Faculty is literally so much Co-operating the atmosphere over there is too friendly. There are 75 students in my class including girls and boys. The minimum Qualification of faculty includes either Graduation or PG in respective fields. The teaching method is as same as that of the other colleges. There are two-semester exams once a year in the gap of 5 months each exam took place. The minimum number of marks you need to pass exams are 40/100.

No internship was provided by the college. As I'm in my final year we have chosen a project named an online voting system in which voters of the elective committee have to vote using an online method rather than that ballot method.

From the 6th Semester itself, college stars provided for Placements. Companies visited at my time were Infosys etc. In my class, 20 out of 75 got placed as of now. As I'm in the 7th semester itself. Tcs company has provided the highest package to one of my friends which were of 3.6 LPA.

Fees can be around 74000 totally depending on your category. And I got on scholarship named as Punjabrao Deshmukh Hostel Rent Scholarship in which I got 30000 per year. College provides some placement but not good that much.

Do not conduct any fest. Yes, but they tried to conduct seminars based on our fields which were really helpful. The college provides all types of books that are available in the library itself. All the books related to field and inspirational are available in the college library. The classrooms have good benches nice looking curtains and a big blackboard for teaching purposes. There are sports events every once a year which include cricket, volleyball and many more.
