Remarks
I took admission through COMEDK and my rank was 5234. Eligibility criteria in this college are 45 in PSU. There are other modes of admission as well KCET and management quota. But I suggest don't go with the management quota because it's too costly.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am so much interested in IT field that's why I choose this course. Student faculty ratio is 1 on 20 students. We have Proctors who in our college who guide us all over the academics. But overall I must say the faculty is helping in nature.
Internships Opportunities
I have no idea about internships in this college because currently I'm in 2nd year but heard from my seniors that the internships are good in this college. As you are in the Silicon Valley of India you will definitely get good internships.
Placement Experience
There are so many companies visits in our college like Accenture, Oracle, HCL, IBM, etc. If you Workinkiigare hard working person then you will definitely get a good placement in this college. Last year only one of our seniors cracked 30 lacks a CTC package.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for the KCET students is only 4 lacks something but for COMEDK the fees are 10 lacks whereas in management quota the fees are 23 lacks for the entire engineering. So we say that they give most of the preference to the students whose domicile is in Karnataka.
Campus Life
DSCE cultural is held on almost every Saturday. There are so many clubs like cricket, football, volleyball, etc. You will be going to have a memorable 4 years here. The library is so massive with a variety of books.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel fees for the NRI hostel are 190000 whereas for the normal hostel the fee is 135000. But I'm staying in a flat with one of my room partners. We have joined a mess which costs around 3100 p. m.
