I gave my IIT JEE in the year 2015. i secured 3324 ranks among the general category. i always was fascinated by maths and iit r offers a brilliant course on math known as applied maths so i took it.

The name of the course which I am having is applied mathematics, it basically is a combination of rigorous mathematics and computer science. The course structure offered here is really good and one can have a very good research career if he go through each course patiently. With topics such as number theory, algebra, differential equations, real analysis, complex analysis, etc.

No, It does not provide any kind of internship but yes people can contact professors and work under them by showing a keen interest in the desired topic. In general case, no stipend is given to such students.

The placements stats are good here as compared to other engineering colleges. We have around 70 percent placement which includes every branch. For mine branch the stats very brilliant last year and people were placed in companies like Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, adobe, etc. almost around 200 companies visit our campus which includes almost every big company.

We have four main events celebrated. Thomso- it is our cultural fest and is said to be one of the best college fests in India. People come from various colleges and participate in it. Cognizance- it is our technical fest and is very famous. Various technical events are held and competitions are held. winning in this fest is meant to be a great deal.

The fee structure here is a bit high than a middle-class person can afford. Recently it has been raised to around 2 lack per year. Although people from poor backgrounds are given some scholarships which reduces their fees a lot. As I am in the second year my fees is around 1.4 lack per year which includes hostel and mess fees. So fee structure was feasible before the changes made by the government.

The students here are provided student loans at a very low interest. Some scholarship which is provided here are MCM- every student having family income less than 5 lack and a CGPA greater than 6 can avail of this scholarship.

Campus life here is awesome. It's the cleanest place i have ever seen. The diversity in students is large Students are here from almost each and every state. The gender ratio is not good here and it is around 900 boys to 100 girls ratio. We have a lot of clubs or cultural societies like cinema club, dance club, music club etc. We do have elections every year for the council formed by students.

Our campus comprises of around 8 boys hostels. Freshmen are given a different hostel. after the first year the students from various years lives together in a hostel. The room allotted in the first year is shared by two but after that, we get to live in a single room. Mess food is not good although the quality is good the taste is not except for the breakfast.

We have a very vast alumni network. As students are placed in almost each and every top company. We have excellent interaction with our seniors. They guide us whenever we are in a doubt.

The faculty that we got here is highly qualified, many of them have printed many research papers in their career. So yes they have the capability to be a very good teacher, although this is not the case. As many of the teachers do not teach well in the class. they just come, write the notes and goes. We do have some very good teachers who are brilliant in teaching.
