Truth on SUIIT

I applied for 9 colleges and Sambalpur University institute of information technology (suiit) was my 6th choice. As I secured 85 percentile on my jee main so this college comes in my second selection and I get admission. I have availed obc quota. As I belong to obc category so I availed this. For admission into b tech courses in our college, the student has jee main/ojee rank. As per rank students who got admission in our college generally cut off goes 1.2 lakh all India rank in jee to got admission. Counseling in our college is very good.it was occurred by our teachers.

I want to do computer science courses as it offers me computer science courses according to my percentile in my jee exam so I take admission, I take cse because it has a bright future ahead, It seems to me. There are almost 50+ teachers in our college and the ratio of teachers and students will be approximately 1:20 All the faculty members are done Ph.D. The minimum qualification is Ph.D. and the teaching methods of all the teachers are very good. It is easy to pass the exam as there are 2 internal in one semester and the best one is chosen to add with the semester and 10 mark is an assignment

Every year internships are offered from many companies. In the third year and in the fourth year many students take internships and our college placement sales help us with this. Every study and the industrial tour is organized in our college. On that, we visit many companies and how they work.

Although the placement in our college is not very good it is good and many companies like tcs, Wipro, Tech Mahindra comes to our campus to give placement. Last year 60% of students got placed in different companies. The highest package is 12lpa as of now in our college however average package is 4lpa. My plan to take placement after my degree

The fee structure of all the streams in our college is the same and it is 96000 per year excluding hostel accommodation. 70000 is tution fee and 15000 is development fee and rest is the exam fee, fest fee etc. Our college provides many scholarships like state scholarship and e-medhabruti,kalia scholarship etc.

There are 3 hostels inside the campus. Among them, 2 is boys' hostel one is girls' hostel. Every year tech fest and cultural fest occurs in our college. There is two Library in our college one is Library for only b.tech course another is for all. All types of books are available in our Library. All types of sports playgrounds are available in our college and every year a sports competition was organized by the college. Students of our college participated on the NCC club and many more.

Hostel facilities are available in our college. It charges 9000 per year for staying hostel and 2000 for caution money which is refundable. A meal in our college is on a payment basis.35 rupees per meal in our college. And 15 meal is mandatory. If one takes to rent a room then it takes 2000 per month.
