About dyal Singh

I have applied for dyal singh college in the year 2019 and the teachers there were very supportive during the admission process. Admission to undergraduate course are merit-based based (that is based on marks scored in class XII board/ qualifying examination. The applicant should have passed tha class XII examination of any board/university examination in indian or in any foreign counrty recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 system by the association of indian university (AIU). The applicant should have ''passed" individually in each subject required ( including practicals if any) for calculating merit and eligibility to the course they seek admission in. APPLICANTS WITH "COMPARTMENT" RESULT ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO APPLY. applicants with gap years will not be at any disadvantage for the purpose of admission to undergraduate courses. There is no minimum age bar for admission to undergraduate courses. Whole staff is very supportive during the admission process and the ambience is very nice

I choose this course because i have very much interest in maths+ chemistry and by opting for this course i got the chance to learn in both mathematics along with chemistry. One of the most amazing thing about the college is tha faculty, teachers in dyal Singh college are very very supportive and will help you whenever in need all the teachers are highly qualified and are sweet. The teacher will try to use different methods to help the students toh understand the topics they are teaching if one is not able to understand. They will also provide you with different study material and will guide you. And one more thing about the teachers is that they are very friendly. Now during the semester examination there will be internals in which the teachers will give you any type of assignment like they can ask you to prepare presentation or will give you some specific topic toh write on. Classes will be suspended 7-10 days before the practical examination & after that theory exam is conducted.

There are various companies like bridge group solution, insightone, easyeats, bookwise, medicfibres, great thornton, story digital, eat my news, TVF, rocsearch. Highest package offered till now is 18 LPA. Stipend as high as 50k is offered varying from company to company. Average CTC is about 5LPA and the major recruiters are KPMG global, EY global, teach for india, NIIT pvt limited , tresvista financial services , grant thornton, fis global and white panda.

You will be eligible in 3rd year for the campus placemets. Dyal singh college achieved 3rd position by the delhi college award conducted the education tree. Every year around 250 students were placed during the recruitment process and the highest package offered in the history of the college stood at 18 LPA. More than 110 companies provide internship opportunities to 350+ students every year offering the stipend as high as 50k. Some of the regular recruiters include IIT kanpur, iim Lucknow, EY india, KPMG india, genpact and many more. My plans after getting the degree is to prepare for my exam to pursue msc. In chemistry.

I am in physical sciences with chemistry and in the first year my course fess was around 15000 and in the second year too it was around 15000 but in 3rd year it was around 11000 something. So basically it's quite cheap to study in delhi university as compare to any other university the fee structure varies from course to course but it's very much affordable in comparison to other state university plus the ambience here in Delhi University is very nice. There are various societies as well including drama societi ,dance society ,art society and many other. Our college provide various opportunity for internship program in various courses.

So I Don't really know about the fest cause i haven't attended one. The college library will provide you with all the types of book you need wheather it's related to your course or any novel. library staff is also very helpful. There is separate rooms also for the students who want to study in library. The classroom is available with basically all type of thing that are need the furniture is perfectly fine some classes are also provide with white board and projector in case needed. All the sports equipment in good condition are provided various game tournaments are also conducted various societies are also including danc society art society drama society fashion society etc. Various program on different festivals are also conducted in tha amphitheater. What i like the most is the drama society it's fun watching them.
