Remarks
The admission criteria are via class 12 marks with various cut offs for different categories. The minimum marks for general is likely to be 95 above in CBSE because the cut offs are high and age is 18 yrs. The admission is via online mode in which we just have to choose the subject, the college and pay the fees with all the required documents.
Course Curriculum Overview
Faculty is best for maths in our college and also one to one interaction of teachers with the students is nice. After every semester there are exams and to score very good marks you have to prepare well.
Internships Opportunities
There are various internship opportunities like there are companies for B Com students which make them do an internship. But I am unable to think of any as in online college these facilities are not used at maximum level.
Placement Experience
The average package is about 5-6 lakhs and the highest is 17 lakhs. Many students got placements after this and others opt for MSc and then PhD. Students after the 3rd year 5th sem became eligible for companies. I am planning to clear the UPSC paper.
Fees and Financial Aid
For General, the fee is 12,790 for BSc Hons Mathematics. And it reduces to about 10k for OBC. And so on it reduces for other castes and for PwD students it is about 150Rs. Also, there are various scholarships but as the fees are already quite low so the scholarship is only for deserving economically weaker students. There is one Inspire Scholarship provided by Govt for BSc MSc and PhD students based on class 12 marks and further on according to the college performances above 75 %.
Campus Life
There is a gymnasium in our college. Also, a big size sports ground with the availability of max sports and many students from our college won various national and international medals in sports. This year only one student won the Olympic Silver Paralympics medal and he was from our college. Various clubs are being run such as NSS, NCC, Kartavya Civil Services Society, Girl Up Disha, etc with proper facilities and interaction and there are dance society, theatre, music society in our college too.
