Remarks
So basically I want to do btech and as we all know NITs are one of the top colleges for Btech in india My college have very good placement results and have a very good area there is lots of tress and greenery in my college study-wise college is very good and very strict about their academics but there are some bad things also which are teachers do not give their 100% in class some of the teachers just do formality kind of thing the rooms in the hostel are small as compare to the number of students in them. The labs are not that up to the mark they don't have sufficient equipments for internships college do not have that much of good record. You can get into the college by clearing jee mains and scoring some average marks to get a good branch in the college I prefer this college because it's in my home town and close to my home I used many websites like shiksha and others to check the rankings and placement packages in college overall my college is an average college not that good.
Course Curriculum Overview
I was really interested in chemicals and reactions that's why I choose this course. The faculty is very very good and is well qualified and they teach with full of passion. They are two types of exams minors that are held twice a semester and the majors that are held at the end of the semester.
Internships Opportunities
The students are eligible for on campus internships from the third year there are many companies that visited to offer internships but they are mainly for CSE and Ece branches but many of them also are open to all. They provided good stipends ranging from 25k-80k.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for an internship in the 3rd year and for placement in the 4th year. There are many big companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Adobe, Lowe's that visit our college every year. The avg package is nearly 6 LPA and the highest is 30 LPA. And the placement is really very good.
Fees and Financial Aid
As compared to the private college fees and IITs fees the fees of my college are comparatively less and if the family income is less than 1 lac per anum then it is free and if it is between 1 lac to 5 lacs then you have to pay only 1/3 of the tuition fee. Whereas for SC/ST it is also free.
Campus Life
There are two main fests that one occurs in the summer that is utkansh held near in March and the other in winters held nearly in November called techniti. The library includes all the required books that you'll need. There is almost every sport available in the college. There are more than dozens of clubs for different progressions.
Hostel Facilities
The college is nearly 20-25 km away from the city so almost 99% of the outsiders take hostels only the rooms are good not up to the mark but also not that bad the toilets are clean and the mess food is also very good it resembles of that of home. There are some restrictions for first year Timmings in the hostel.
Interview Experience
The only way to get Into my college is through Jee mains exams for Indian students and SAT exam for international students you have to clear the cut off of the college to get admission and there is no other way.
