My opinions on BIHER

For admission, I had to first register myself on the official admission portal. Along with the online application for, I paid Rs 1000 as application fee. I chose this college because it is one of India's leading institutes, with more than 10,000 students and more than 900 faculty members. It is known for its excellence in various interdisciplinary academic programs. One of my cousins suggested that I try applying here at this college as it is equipped with the state of the art infrastructure facilities.

All the faculty members are well-qualified and have vast experience in research to teach and supervise our MBA related studies. I have quite a good relationship with each and every one of my professors and under their mentorship, I am learning a lot. Besides introducing us to business fundamentals, the curriculum also trains us for various soft skills like Team Building, Inter Personal Relationship, Group Discussion and Leadership Skills.

I worked as a Marketing Manager with the Microsoft Marketing Team. This experience has helped me to master a lot of practical skills like decision making ability, leadership skills etc. I got paid around Rs 7000 for each month as stipend.

The College provides us with on-campus placement and for that it conducts recruitment events each year. Several top companies visit the campus during these events which also gives us a chance to connect with potential employers. Some of the companies are Accenture, Byju's, Capgemini, Wipro, Paypal, Amazon, Google etc. Starting salary of my seniors and Alumni members who have received a placement from here is around Rs 500000 - Rs 700000.

For my program, I pay around Rs. 1,25,000 per annum as tuition fees. This covers all study related costs except books and supplies and hostel costs. My friends who stay in hostel are required to pay around Rs 65,000 per year for their AC room and Rs 50,000 per year for their dining hall fees.

A lot of events are conducted throughout the year at our college campus. Sports tournaments are most popular followed by music and dance performances, college social, cultural festivals like Holi, Onam, Pongal etc. We have lots of fun during these events and get to meet a lot of new people.

I lived on my own near the university campus. This is because I did not want to spend a huge amount of money on campus hostel facilities. My room rent is Rs 5,000 and on top of that, I pay for the gas and electricity bill out of my own pocket. As per my friends who live on campus, the hostel rooms are quite clean, spacious and airy. The hostels have dining facilities where my friends have their meals. Other than that, there are also a lot of affordable food services on campus that provide inexpensive and easily accessible lunch and evening snacks options.

No there was no group discussion but I had to sit for an interview with the members of the Admissions Committee. I was asked common questions about my studies and future plans, what contributions I will make to the MBA class of 2022 and so on.
