Remarks

Good Aspects: The placement of NIT Delhi is far better than other new NITs. The average package is more than 10 LPA this year(2021-22). More than 30 students out of total 160 students who are sitting for placement got 16+ LPA package and most of them got more than 8 LPA package. There are less students , so less competition. Even 1st year students got chance to participate in Inter NIT Tournament. Only 3 branches are there: CSE, ECE, EEEBad Aspects: 1. Very few faculties are permanent and other are on contract basis.2. No permanent campus yet(may be in 2022)3. Hostels are very far from college as no hostels for boys in campus till now as campus is not permanent.1. Admission process is similar to other colleges like you will require your 12th and 10th grade marksheet or provisional marksheet , passing certificates. 2. If you belong to particular category(like OBC, SC, ST) then you require proper document and its format is available on jossa website. 3. OBC is valid for those income is less than 8 lakh. 4. And the tuition fees is different on the basis on income and irrespective of caste that is less than 1 lakh, between 1 to 5 lakh or more than 5 lakh. You need income certificate for that.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

1. I choose Electronics and Communication based on my Rank in Jee mains. Faculties are good but very few are permanent. 2. Girls:boys= 28:1503. Some teachers are good but ultimately you all have to study by your self by youtube.Youtube is best teacher.4. Mainly 1st year is difficult to pass for most of the students but its not very difficult to pass. You just have to focus in class or before exam.

Internships Opportunities

4

there are many companies that provide internship to 3rd year student in our college for 2 months during summer vaction like Adobe(1 lakh per month stipend), samsung(50 k per month stipend), Mathwork, Optum(35k per month stipend) and many more.

Fee Structure And Facilities

1.There is different fees on the basis of income.2.The overall fees is around 6 to 7 lakh till now excluding mess and hostel for students having income greater than 5 lakh including general and obc students. The overall fees is around 3 to 4 lakh for those whose income is between 1 to 5 lakh per annum . And overall fees for SC/ST students and students whose income is less than 1 lakh is around 1 lakh. The above fees are excluding mess and hostel. The fees structure is completely different for DASA students( Citizenship is not Indian or did their 10th and 12th not from India).3. I dont have any idea of scholarship but there is many state scholarships.4. The placement of NIT Delhi is far better than other new NITs. The average package is more than 10 LPA this year(2021-22). Campus Life

2.5

First of all, There is no such permanent campus yet but may be in 2022 we will shift in our new permanent campus. There are two annual fest that is inter college : Sentience ( Technical fest is named as terra technica and one culutural fest that is named as Saptrang and combinely of both is Named as sentience) . There is one Intra college sports fest that is named as zeal. There is also an opportunity to participate in INTER NIT tournamnet that has almost all the sports. There is no such proper ground for different games but still there is a temporary ground for every sports and every sport has personal coach assigned. There is one library that has a capacity of 15 students only. But there are many books avalailble there that you can borrow and usually no need to buy books. There are different clubs like sports club, technical club, gaming club, arts club, drama club, literature club and many more.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Cost vary every year but in my time its 10,000 per semester but for my juniors , its 18000 per semester. So it varies. There are many facilities like washing machine, freeze, induction, common electric kettle, bed, mattresses . Registration process is very easy. Just you have to fill the form and registration fees at the starting of semester. Preference is for other state category students for proving hostel. Girls hostels are inside the campus but not for boys till now.

Admission

The only process for getting admission in NIT is through JEE MAINS exam. And based on the rank and marks , we have to fill our choice preferences during online counselling . There are 7 rounds of counselling and two spot rounds.

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.
