Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology is one of the best colleges in Kerala. It is one of the very few autonomous colleges in the state. They have very good placements. I had interest in computer from my school days . Moreover computer engineers have very good placement opportunity and salary packages. In RSET, CSE is the course that has highest number of students and in our batch there is 3 classes each with around 60 students. The faculties are very talented and most of them are PhD graduates.

In 2021, 805 offers were recieved and 421 students were placed. After getting the degree I want to continue by pursuing M.Tech abroad.

3.45 Lakhs for those in merit list. The toppers in the merit list for admission will be given scholarshipsas decided by the management. The scholarships will continue in thesubsequent years provided the students maintain good conduct andthe prescribed SGPA in the semester-end examinations.Students belonging to economically weaker sections, who secureadmission based on the allotment by the Commissioner of EntranceExaminations, will be granted 100% fee concession, provided theypossess BPL card or other documentary evidence. The number ofscholarships is limited to ten.

Bharatham is the intra college art fest . Ranabhoomi, the annual sports meet convened in the month of March. Abhiyanthriki, RSET's national level technical fest is held once every two years.Techkshetra, the one-day technical fest, features a variety of technical contests, designed to test technical knowledge and aptitude to the hilt. It is held every alternative year.Alethea library is the main library of the college. It contains a variety of reference books , journals, e-books. The library is always kept updated and is a knowledge pool for the Rajagirians.The classrooms are well-ventilated. There are a variety of well-equipped labs to aid students as well as the faculties. The campus also provides students opportunities for physical training. There is a large football ground, a cricket ground, basketball ground and also an indoor badminton court.Variety of clubs aid the students in their interested fields. These clubs includes IEEE, IEDC, Arts club, sports club, debate club, literary club, mathematics club, quiz club, nature club , NSS etc.The seven branch associations carry out various students' activities to enhance the general technical skills and awareness of students. College provides first-class hostel facilities separately for both boys and girls. Resident tutors are assigned to look into the welfare of the students. Bus facility is provided for residents of the girls?Ûª hostel to and from the college. The payment gateway for hostel fee is available online on the RSET website. Accommodation and amenities of international standards are available in the campus for visiting faculty members/resource persons coming to attend/conduct seminars, lectures, workshops etc.There are two men's hostels : Sanjoe 1 and Sanjoe 2. Both hostels are equipped with 24 hrs Wi-Fi .

Admission was based on merit , no interview or GD was involved. I got selected based on KEAM rank list. Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical Entrance exam is conducted by the state government. KEAM is an offline MCQ exam .It consists of two exams each for 480 marks(120 questions) and exam duration is 150 minutes per paper. First paper consists of physics and chemistry and second paper is mathematics.The exam is based on NCERT syllabus.
