Remarks
The college is overall very good. Good faculty, good exposure to company fairs and a cooperative student body make it the best college after premier colleges like Delhi college of Engineering and IIT.
Entrance Preview
I took IPU JEE exam. My rank was 1381. I took up this course because of its ranking, college facilities, placement record and quality of education. Admissiom was through counselling.
Internships Opportunities
I did my internships at a leading MNC. It was a no stipend thing. I had to search for internships myself and the placement cell is not active on that part. But everyone ends up getting one do its not an issue at all.
Placement Experience
I was placed in 5 companies and the placement cell is pretty active and comprehensive. There were close to 30 companies that visited the campus. Nearly 90 percent of the students were placed during the course itself.
College Events
The college has techsurge and mridang as tech and cultural fests. Apart from that holi, diwali and christmas are also celebrated in the college. So in that way the college is culturally active.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible fee structure I would say. Around 80000 per year and that includes everything.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college doesn't give any scholarships as far as I know. The loans are available but I hadnt taken it. Some of my friends had taken it and the interest rate is around 14 percent per annum.
Campus Life
The college has a football ground, aura dance society and other cultural societies too. The gender ratio is slightly bent towards males and as such no racial or religious preference is there.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors are really nice and help in every possible manner. Some seniors are really arrogant but then that happens with every college I have seen. The alumnis are placed in good companies and help in placements during the final year.
Exam Structure
The college has semester system witha total of 8 sems. Each sem has 2 midterms and one final sem exam.
