Remarks

The faculty is good if one studies on regular basis. The infrastructure is also good, placement can vary, because of the pandemic placements aren't taking place which is one of the worst thing about the department. There are no societies, the department is just for studies. One can only expect academic services from the department not any kind of extracurricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course and the syllabus is good overall, the teaching process can be made more interesting as it is a foreign language.Exams are timely as per the university schedule, its not difficult to pass if one studies in continuation.

Internships Opportunities

1

The department provides with no internship opportunities but one do it on their own. There aren't a lot of internships one can do except for translation in a foreign language field or maybe content writing. But students do a lot of other internships too to add more skills to their CVs.The department can provide with official knowledge about DAAD scholarship as they have ties with many universities abroad as it is a government institution. So cheers to that.

Placement Experience

2.5

The average placement is around 5.4 lacs p.a to 6 lacs p.a as a foreign language specialist in MNCs. The placement varies year to year, one shouldn't be dependent upon the college placement for job, there are other available options. But Ive one has studied the language properly, job isn't a hard thing to get.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Department provides scholarship and guidance around foreign scholarships DAAD, to study and research in Germany. The total expenses of this full time 3 year course including accommodation, food and everything is around 2.5-3 lacs. ( Depending on the individual)

Campus Life

4

The campus life in DU north Campus is very good, one interacts with students coming from all possible backgrounds which helps in growing and knowing each others ideas. The fest and activities of different colleges in the campus are close to the department therefore theres a lot to enjoy and learn.

Admission

The admission process is purely merit based that one scores in his/her board exams. I prepared for it by studying well in my 12th class while giving time to extracurricular activities equally.

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.
