Remarks
It's the best college in my state at the state level. It had an nirf ranking of somewhere around 50 or below I guess for the year I joined. It's a well known college in Kerala and the best state government college. CET is the first engineering college in Kerala.
Course Curriculum Overview
Excellent college compared to other state colleges. Good infrastructure and good teaching method but my classes were online so I couldn't get a full experience on the teaching method but online method was kinda okay. Exams were moderately difficult and accurate.
Placement Experience
The top recruiters included Accenture, Amazon, Ashok Leyland, Cognizant, Deloitte, Google, HP, IBM and Infosys.College offered the highest salary package of Rs 44 LPA during its 2020 placement drive.college placements 2020 concluded with 715 job offers.More than 70% of the students got placed in 2019.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Manageable fee structure with scholership for categories like SC/ST/OEC and others. Some scholership like egrantz are really great for sc/st/oec students and get great stipend.Great placements. It is the best known college in the state for placements.Scholerships are available at both state and national level for all categories I guess.
Campus Life
There are a lot of tech fest and other annual fest at my college and it's well known in the state and the second best fest but since I joined during covid these activities weren't conducted.dristi,disha and all are famous fests. Books are available. they have good libraries inside every department and also a main library. There are communities like TinkerHub that focuses on peer learning which are run by students.
Hostel Facilities
Accommodation is pretty comfortable. Neat rooms shared by 3 or sometimes 4 . Great food and also provides separate food for people from other states if they don't like the south indian food . For me the registration process was temporary accommodation for just 20 days due to covid and for that the process was done online by emailing all the necessary documents.
Admission
No official interviews but they might ask some questions like why you want to join this particular college or what other colleges did you get and why didn't you choose that college or maybe what college did you wish to join?. Admission criteria had two modes because of the pandemic one was virtual and the other you could go to the campus and do the registration process.
