NIT Rourkela placements 2020 have witnessed a total of 909 job offers, wherein 499 job offers were fetched by BTech students followed by 178 job offers by MTech students. The highest CTC of Rs 42 LPA was bagged by a BTech student during the NIT Rourkela placements for its graduating batch 2020.Some of the eminent recruiters, including IBM, Infosys, KPMG, Microsoft, Nokia, Oracle, Hyundai, Maruti Suzuki, PepsiCo, Myntra, etc that have visited the campus for the final placements 2020.

We have all facilities comparable to top IITs. Labs have all the apparatus, but we rely on LAN rather than Wi-Fi. Classrooms are par for all needs. The library is good with air-conditioners, and they have all books for needs. The hostel is also good, and Sunday food is great. We have good medical facilities in each hostel. Our NIT is the best in sports with all sports grounds and amenities. We have a student activity center for club activities.Our fests are very good, like Innovision, and many fests are also conducted throughout the year. The campus crowd is good, and the campus is large and beautiful.

Large, exclusively student-occupied accommodation, maintained by the university. Residents live in study bedrooms, either alone or sharing with another student. The University, with its beautifully landscaped and carefully tended gardens, provides an ideal environment for a congenial learning experience. Here is a campus that invites students out of their hostels to spend time between classes midst greenery and a riot of floral color. The Institute is fully residential and provides accommodation facilities for all students. The Institute have total 11 hostels which includes 7 boys hostel, 2 girls hostel and 2 married hostel (only for research scholars).
