Remarks

Every year here they take admission requests online and after filling in your details you need to pay half of your amount( for me 8000INR) through NEFT of any other portals. Then within a week they will call you and give instructions about the further admission process. For those who have scored above, 95% in 12th get a free seat. Along with admission, you will get the option to apply for a hostel, PG or mess, etc. After the online process, you need to visit the college for further admission process. You need to carry an Adhaar card, Photo(passport-sized and stamp-sized), 10th and 12th mark sheet, Transfer certificate, address proof, Bank account details...etc

There will be 2 internals each term and I that 2nd internal will be online mode. But due to covid, we had all exams through online itself And the term end exam will is divided into 3 parts i.e written exam(80 marks), internal assessment(20), and practicals(50).

Since i am a 2nd BSc student i don't know much about internships offered by the college. But in the college WhatsApp groups they Share the news about internship programs. In this year there were 3 internship programs I that 2 were from the math department and one was from the computer science department.

Fees and Financial Aid

SSC post-matric scholarship, Sir CV Raman scholarship. All the information about scholarships and job offers will be sent via notice to every class and section so that they can be notified. And they will pin it on the notice board.

Campus Life

Cosmos a physics Club, There is a Astronomical Club which is active in discord platform. Here we share all new things about astronomy and more news physics topic There is a Math club (Sigma association) And there are several association like this

Placement Experience:

From final year the students can apply for the placements. At least 60% should be there to be eligible for the placement. Many companies provides placements in this college like infosys, Accenture, Mahindra and many more. The average package as per the company is 200000 per annum and the highest package is 700000 per annum. My plans after getting the degree is to go to abroad for my post graduate.

Placement Experience:

Usually there are placements in our college. If any student does not get a placement the faculty guide us what we can do next like the companies in which we can apply and how we can go further. In my course after finishing the bachelors degree you can further study masters it is available in our college itself or yoj can aplly for companies but if you do your masters you have a better opportunity and high posts for you better career. The course is of 8 semester you become eligible for campus placements in 7th semester. The last year that is seventh and eighth semester is basically practical and lot of projects provided. There various companies are seniors have applied and offered for example the genetic company in Bangalore that is Med gen. The highest package offered is 50000 and the average starts from 25000 placements in college. There is 75 percentage of students getting placements from our college. My plans after getting the degree is to go for further studies and do the masters after that i would like to do job along with my phd, this is my plan after getting my bachelors degree.

We have mandatory internship period after 2 years of teaching, and they provide internship and placement support. Different Companies come and take test and hire the eligible candidates. Regarding placement package, since it's just been 1 year of SST there cannot be said anything about it. But Scaler the parent Company of SST has average package of 22lakhs and highest package of 1.04cr.

Life at IISc- Pros and Cons

Placement Experience:

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists

I choose this course because it was very curriculum heavy meaning the cirriculum was very good . the girls to boys ratio here is 1 : 8 . but this year only 200 peopel were selected out of 200. they are industry tech experts. they are passable

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I want to go into it field. The faculty is good here nothing to improve about that and the student ratio is 5:3. Qualification is good and the teaching method like some lectures is good. Term exams will be after 6 months from starting of sem and it's not as difficult as pu or 10th exams we can easily pass them.
